Coming up we have a bantamweight Tycoon World Grappling Championship rules bout between Kazuka Fuujin and Ichi Takeshi. Fuujin comes into the arena with GAMBLER blaring out of the sound system. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

In the red corner, competing out of Los Angeles, with a TWGC record of 15 wins and 6 losses; Kazuka Fuujin! And in the blue corner, fighting out of Tokyo, with a TWGC record of 1 wins and 2 losses; Ichi Takeshi!
The judges for this bout are Taro Takaoka, Shigeki Sano and Yukihiro Shimada.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Well, if Fuujin is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

Fuujin passes Takeshi's right leg, so he's now in half guard.

Takeshi is doing well to control the position and prevent Fuujin from advancing to side control.

Takeshi wants to control but Fuujin is keeping busy and won't allow it.

Fuujin has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

Takeshi is trying to maintain the position but Fuujin is very close to passing his half guard.
Fuujin takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
Takeshi is looking for a sweep. Fuujin is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Takeshi won't allow Fuujin to pass to mount.
Takeshi wants to get back to full guard.

Fuujin is just content to waste time from the top position. Takeshi takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard.
Fuujin controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
Takeshi is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Fuujin looking to control the position here, rather than advance.

Fuujin preventing the sweep.
Fuujin's corner is telling him to maintain position.
Fuujin passes into half guard.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Fuujin in particular looking to stall.
Takeshi is concentrating on defense, preventing Fuujin from advancing position.

Takeshi won't allow Fuujin to pass to mount.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Takeshi controlling the leg, holding on to half guard.
Fuujin slows the pace down in half guard.

That's twelve minutes gone in the round.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Fuujin seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Takeshi does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Fuujin tries to pass to full mount but Takeshi defends it.
Takeshi is looking to improve his position.

Fuujin trying to control from Takeshi's half guard. Takeshi has other ideas though and has regained full guard.

Fuujin sitting in guard, not really doing much.

And that's the end of the fight!
Fuujin takes the fight on points by 5 to 0.
After winning the bout, Kazuka Fuujin thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
Ichi Takeshi was interviewed post fight and said 'Son of a!!!! great shame I great shame Sorry I need more strong in spirit. '.
