Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Stevie West (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Oleg Korolyov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Oleg Korolyov acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Stevie West! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Oleg Korolyov! The judges for this bout are , Don Winkell and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! West blocks the body kick.
That kick from Korolyov tenderised West's leg. West is trying to keep his angry face on. Korolyov throws a combination that misses and West counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work. West misses with a wild body shot. Korolyov tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away. West throws a nice outside leg kick. West scores with a body shot.
Korolyov takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
West with a jab. Korolyov throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. West was covering up waiting for the punch and Korolyov finishes the takedown easily into guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Korolyov landing with the ground and pound. Korolyov stands up over West, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Korolyov throws an elbow that misses. West uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Korolyov's guard. Nice move by West! West postures up in Korolyov's guard and throws a big left but Korolyov blocks it.
That's one minute gone in the round. Korolyov utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Korolyov keeping moving, preventing West from controlling successfully. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Korolyov can do anything to dispel that myth. Korolyov has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall. West could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

West throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. West is trying to control the action in half guard but Korolyov is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. West has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. West trying to control from Korolyov's half guard. Korolyov has other ideas though and has regained full guard. Korolyov trying to punch from his back but it's not doing any damage. West content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. Korolyov wants to sweep but no luck. Korolyov is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Korolyov throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.

Korolyov seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but West does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. West regains full guard. Nicely done. Korolyov must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. West is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. West preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Korolyov throws an elbow that misses. West uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Korolyov's guard. Nice move by West! West trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. West is looking to work some ground and pound but Korolyov has wrist control. Stevie West dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
West shoots in looking for a takedown. Korolyov tries to sprawl out of it but West keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Korolyov manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Korolyov tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away. Korolyov decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. West on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound. Korolyov with a momentary lay and pray from half guard. West gets full guard. West is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Korolyov defends well. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Korolyov postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. West is pulling down on Korolyov's head to control his posture.

Korolyov content to stall in guard here. West is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Korolyov defends well. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Korolyov trying to control but West is working from the bottom. West is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Korolyov stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. West swivels though and keeps the full guard. West is trying to control the position but Korolyov postures up. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup. Korolyov's corner is telling him to maintain position.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. A decent looking cross lands there for Korolyov. Korolyov fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging West to the ground. Korolyov is now in West's guard. West utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Korolyov trying to control the position from guard on top but West is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Korolyov is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. Korolyov wants to control from the top but West keeps moving. Korolyov pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. West is keeping the position for now. Korolyov really doesn't want to stay on the ground with West. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Korolyov trying to control but West is working from the bottom. Korolyov working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound. West trying to control the position.

That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Korolyov scoring with punches to the head and body. Korolyov distracts West with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. Korolyov postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Korolyov pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way. West lands a leg kick that knocks Korolyov off balance momentarily. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Oleg Korolyov showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!
Korolyov closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Korolyov tries to pass to full mount but West defends it. Korolyov is taking a breather. West says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. Korolyov seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime. Korolyov trying to control from half guard but West is working away. West makes his way to full guard. A much better position for West. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. West trying to keep a closed guard but Korolyov is proving a slippery customer.

That's one minute gone in the round. West controls Korolyov momentarily but Korolyov frees himself. West seems to have improved his submission grappling technique since last time we saw him. Let's see if he can pull off a submission. Korolyov with a nice head shot there. Korolyov stands up over West, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Korolyov lands a couple of elbows. Korolyov working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of West's head. West throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.

That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Korolyov trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Korolyov content to stall in guard here.

Korolyov got a little sloppy there for a moment and West has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Korolyov has managed to get both his arms back between West's legs - danger averted.

And that's the end of the fight! Oleg Korolyov comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Korolyov has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
