Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Ernesto Del Toro (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Daniel Brown (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Del Toro comes to the cage accompanied by Bliss. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
45 - 19 - 2, fighting out of New York, Ernesto Del Toro! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
22 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Daniel Brown! The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, Sam Margolis and Steven Brown.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Brown has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Del Toro. Brown is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Del Toro. A solid leg kick lands there for Brown.

Brown smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button. Brown tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Del Toro was well out of range. Poor timing from Brown. Brown slips under a jab. Del Toro misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Del Toro changes levels and scores with a jab to the body. Daniel Brown seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Brown connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe. Brown throws a lazy head kick and Del Toro counters with a lovely straight right hand! Del Toro throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Brown wants to counter the offense by Del Toro and move into the clinch position. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Brown takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
That's one minute gone in the round. Brown throws a head kick that misses. Del Toro throws a quick counter kick to the body but Brown avoids it. Brown throws a shot from downtown. Del Toro moves away and avoids it. Brown with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Del Toro to score with a decent uppercut. A low kick from Brown is predictable there and Del Toro counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Brown throws a body shot but no joy. Del Toro avoids the body shot from Brown.

Brown tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Brown throws a jab when Del Toro was well out of range. Brown throws a sloppy head kick and Del Toro moves out of range easily. Del Toro is looking to counter with a shot to the body. Nice body punch from Brown. Brown lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.

Del Toro half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range. We've been hearing reports that Del Toro has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight. Del Toro shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Brown is trying to defend but Del Toro finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Del Toro looks to score some points with some ground and pound. Del Toro working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Del Toro lands with a punch from half guard. Brown gets full guard. Del Toro slips nicely into half guard. Brown won't allow Del Toro to pass to mount. Del Toro trying to control from half guard but Brown is working away.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Del Toro passes to side control. Del Toro working the head and body with strikes. Brown is trying to improve his position. Brown trying his best to control but Del Toro has mounted him. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Ernesto Del Toro dominated that round. That's time! Del Toro's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Brown's coach down at Outer Heaven Dojo was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Brown's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight. Brown misses with an uppercut. Del Toro saw that one coming. Del Toro fails to land the takedown. Brown swings widly with a right hand
and Del Toro counters with a right hand to the body. Brown lands with a hook. Del Toro tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head. A combination from Brown does no damage. Del Toro seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter. Brown finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Daniel Brown seems to be getting the better of the standup. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Del Toro keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

Del Toro seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter. Brown connects with a solid leg kick. Del Toro lands with a kick to the temple. Brown shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?" Del Toro paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button. Del Toro's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Del Toro duly obliges. A thudding body kick lands there by Brown!
Brown throws a leg kick which misses Del Toro's front leg but catches the back leg as Del Toro tries to avoid it. Del Toro looks to land a body kick but Brown moved away. It really doesn't seem like the step up in weight is hurting Del Toro here at all. He's more than holding his own against the bigger man. This has been an exciting period of action! Del Toro throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Brown on the side of the head.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Del Toro dives in and grabs Brown's left leg, looking for a takedown. Brown pushes down on Del Toro's head and hops out. The crowd cheers as Del Toro lands an impressive looking overhand right. Brown doesn't seem phased though.
Brown is rocked! Brown scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Del Toro shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Brown sprawls well. Brown wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Del Toro gets slowly back to his feet. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ernesto Del Toro. That's going to take a lot out of him. Brown lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt. Del Toro missing with a left hand there. Brown was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Del Toro is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Brown can do to turn this around?

Brown tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked. Brown lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Del Toro or not. Brown tries a body shot but Del Toro blocks it.

Brown throws a lazy head kick enabling Del Toro to counter with a crisp jab. Del Toro lands a jab-cross combination. Brown is still on wobbly legs! Can Del Toro finish him?
That's four minutes gone in the round. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Brown throws a lazy body kick so Del Toro counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Del Toro advances position into side control! Brown seems to have recovered his senses. Del Toro landing a few strikes. Brown takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
Del Toro tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Del Toro has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Del Toro looking to control but instead Brown has slipped a leg in, to regain half guard. Brown is holding on to half guard well. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Good leg kick by Brown there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Del Toro throws a nice looking combination but Brown bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. It seemed like Brown was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it. Daniel Brown has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Brown fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Del Toro sprawls well initially but Brown persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Brown takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Del Toro preventing any damage for now, controlling his opponent's head. The fighters are battling for position here. Del Toro manages to regain full guard. Nice work. Brown got a little sloppy there for a moment and Del Toro has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Brown has managed to get both his arms back between Del Toro's legs - danger averted. Brown lands a couple of digs.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Brown trying to control but Del Toro is working from the bottom. Brown content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. Brown manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Brown postures up.

And that's the end of the fight! I would just about give that final round to Daniel Brown. I think Del Toro has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
