Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Daniel Garver (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Max Kaz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Garver might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Carver. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
17 - 15 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Daniel Garver! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
29 - 22 - 1, fighting out of Tokyo, Max Kaz! The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Jack Bonds and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kaz fakes a jab and then connects with a hook. Kaz lands with a thumping leg kick.
Kaz moves away from the strike by Garver. A little jabbing left from Kaz on the counter but it doesn't find it's target. Garver throws a shot from downtown. Kaz moves away and avoids it. Garver cracks a nice hook into Kaz's ribs. Kaz blocks a head kick by Garver.
Kaz throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
As Kaz looks to move away, Garver throws a big counter combo but Kaz just gets out of the way. Kaz fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Garver manages to avoid it. Garver connects with a jab. Garver stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Kaz. A jab from Garver misses. Kaz throws out a counter right but Garver avoids it with no problem. Daniel Garver seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Garver dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Garver displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Kaz throws out the jab. Garver throws a quick inside leg kick. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Garver listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut. Garver wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. Sloppy strikes from Kaz. Those never looked like landing. Kaz throws a nice inside leg kick. Kaz throws a leg kick but Garver sees it coming and checks it nicely. Kaz tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Garver manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kaz wants to slow Garver down by chopping away at his legs. Garver is looking to counter punch. Kaz moves out of range of the body kick. Garver misses the jab. The fighters circling - Garver throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Kaz tries to clinch but Garver moves away enabling Garver to counter with a crisp jab. Garver wants to slow Kaz down by chopping away at his legs. Nice defenses there by Kaz. Garver uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook. Kaz tried to score with a low kick but Garver checks it. Kaz keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh. Garver throws a body punch but Kaz moves out of range. Kaz feints and then cracks Garver's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Garver down. Kaz is looking to chop away at Garver's legs. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Garver takes a swing at Kaz's ribcage but misses.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kaz staying out of range there. Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Garver throws a series of strikes that have Kaz backpedaling.

Kaz uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Garver. A big left from Garver misses. Kaz drops his hands momentarily and Garver takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head. Kaz pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Garver turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick. Garver misses with a hook. A decent looking body kick lands there for Kaz. Garver throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Kaz uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Garver. Garver cracks Kaz with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd. Kaz misses with a low kick.
Garver lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw. Garver connects with a looping right hand.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Garver looks to land a right hand but Kaz moved out of range. Garver throws a hook but Kaz avoids it easily. Kaz tries a quick counter leg kick but Garver is wise to it. Garver tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Kaz was well out of range. Poor timing from Garver. Kaz ducks right into an uppercut from Garver. A chopping leg kick lands by Kaz. Garver swings widly with a right hand
and Kaz counters with a right hand to the body. Garver lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Kaz circles away quickly and effectively. Garver lands a jab to Kaz's midsection. Garver lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh. Garver throws a hook but Kaz avoids it easily. Garver backing away here, and Kaz unleashes a leg kick that just misses. A head kick misses from Garver. Garver throws a push kick but Kaz slaps the foot to one side. Garver lands with a shot to the body. Garver walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! A good leg kick by Garver. Kaz needs to keep his hands up - Garver had a free shot at his head there. Garver staying out of range there. Garver misses with a hook to the body
and Kaz counters with a head kick. That will keep Garver thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Garver looks to land a right hand but Kaz moved out of range. Garver misses with the combination.
Garver is really peppering his opponent's head with punches. Kaz connects with a leg kick. Garver looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it. Kaz blocks a low kick nicely. Garver dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Kaz's jab looks to have found its range, popping Garver under the eye. Garver walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Garver is rocked! A nice leg kick lands there from Kaz. Oh Garver is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Garver throws a left and a right that both miss
and Kaz rattles Garver with a well-timed uppercut counter. - Garver tries to back away and recover but his hands are down low and he gets tagged again, sending him stumbling down to the canvas. Kaz dives in after him and quickly finishes the job with a trio of brutal punches, leaving Garver stiff and motionless on the mat!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:39 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Max Kaz! Max Kaz decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
