Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Irving York (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dave Bigjohnson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dave Bigjohnson told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The judges for this bout are Ren Mimura, Kenichi Hosakawa and Yukihiro Yamamoto.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bigjohnson avoids the head kick by York.
York keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Bigjohnson closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
York wants to get back to full guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

York takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
A decent looking body kick lands there for York.
York fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Bigjohnson, pushing him back against the cage.
