The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Yourcrackin fails with a takedown attempt. Yourcrackin tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Washington paws at him with a jab and circles away. Washington swats away the attempt to clinch by Yourcrackin. Yourcrackin instigates a clinch. Yourcrackin has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Washington avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. Yourcrackin looking for a takedown. Cleophus Washington has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Fill Yourcrackin. A nice glancing elbow lands by Yourcrackin. Washington blocks an uppercut.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Yourcrackin lands a nice elbow from the clinch. Yourcrackin using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Washington has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.

Yourcrackin has picked Washington up - he's going for a ride! Yourcrackin dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard. Washington looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Washington tries to roll over but Yourcrackin keeps him under control. Washington looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. That's two minutes gone in the round. Yourcrackin lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. Washington avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Yourcrackin. Yourcrackin is working for a kimura but Washington is defending it quite comfortably.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Washington avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Fill Yourcrackin seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Yourcrackin changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Washington tries to avoid it but Yourcrackin manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Washington to the ground. Washington escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Yourcrackin moves in looking to clinch but Washington pushes him off.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Washington decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Washington seems to be working for a kimura but Yourcrackin defends the submission attempt. Washington slips a nice elbow through Yourcrackin's hands, connecting with Yourcrackin's forehead. Washington tries to pass the half guard into mount. Yourcrackin knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. Yourcrackin actively working from the bottom here. Yourcrackin moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. Yourcrackin is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Yourcrackin wants to stand but Washington is controlling the position.

Yourcrackin has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Washington off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds. Yourcrackin shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Washington counters with a shoot takedown. Yourcrackin fights it but they end up in guard. Washington is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Yourcrackin has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Washington can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Yourcrackin is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

Yourcrackin shoots and misses and Washington counters with a nice double leg into guard. Yourcrackin escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Washington gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Washington has gone for a leg lock! Yourcrackin slips out almost immediately though and dives into Washington's guard. Yourcrackin postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Washington is looking for a triangle but Yourcrackin pushes his legs off easily.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Yourcrackin misses with a takedown attempt and Washington counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Washington. Washington drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Yourcrackin dives on top into guard. Washington had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Yourcrackin is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Washington Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Yourcrackin's back instead. Washington is trying to stick to Yourcrackin's back but Yourcrackin is turning into Washington. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Washington's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Yourcrackin. Yourcrackin is looking to work some ground and pound but Washington has wrist control. Cleophus Washington overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Yourcrackin trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Yourcrackin throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Washington works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Yourcrackin throwing strikes but missing. Yourcrackin postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. Washington throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Washington wants to sweep here but Yourcrackin controlling him for the moment. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Yourcrackin accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Washington has his foot on Yourcrackin's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Yourcrackin works his way back into a safe position though. Yourcrackin chips away with some ground and pound. Yourcrackin wants to stand but Washington has a closed guard, so he can't escape. Yourcrackin is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Washington has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Yourcrackin is looking to defend but Washington has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Yourcrackin! Washington pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Yourcrackin taps out and this one is all over!
