Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Ancient Alien (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kennet Janssen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Alien pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Janssen steps in looking to clinch after the strikes miss from Alien.
Janssen lands a nice hook to Alien's body. Alien takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Janssen drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Janssen tries to close the distance and clinch but Alien swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Alien swings and misses with a hook to the body.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

and Alien counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

Janssen slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
A left lands for Janssen.
Alien definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Alien gets tackled into the cage by Janssen. Janssen maintains the clinch.
Alien tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Janssen's elbow.
Alien throws a head punch that misses.
Janssen dictating the pace here, as the fighters clinch against the cage.
Alien misses with a hook from the clinch.
Alien throws a punch but it's blocked by Janssen.
Alien goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Alien misses with a short punch on the inside.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Alien.

Janssen drags the fight down to the ground.
Janssen has a closed guard, preventing Alien from standing up.
Janssen working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Alien doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Janssen is tightening it up a little... Alien has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Alien reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Alien taps out! Nice BJJ there by Janssen!
