Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Hovannes Nazaryan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hans Gruber (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nazaryan throws a sloppy head kick and Gruber moves out of range easily.
And Gruber tries to counter it with a takedown but Nazaryan pushes his down on his head and steps out.
Nazaryan throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Nazaryan lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Nazaryan.

It looks like Hans Gruber has been cut.
Nazaryan tries to score with a low kick but Gruber moves his leg out of the way.
Nazaryan looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Nazaryan missing with a left hand there. Gruber was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Danga de danga de dang - Gruber scores with a four punch combination!
Gruber just misses with a punch to the body.

Gruber scores with a takedown into Nazaryan's guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Gruber lands a couple of elbows.
Gruber distracts Nazaryan with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
Nazaryan has momentary wrist control but Gruber slips an elbow through the middle.

Gruber cracks Nazaryan with a solid left hand.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Gruber chips away with some ground and pound.
