Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Santeri Bond (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Quinton Randleman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Santeri Bond! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Quinton Randleman! The judges for this bout are Marco Blurström, Johanna Lukiainen and Matti Vanhoillinen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bond lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Bond misses with a double jab
and Randleman counters by moving into the clinch. Bond looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now. Randleman escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Bond gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Randleman to score an easy takedown into full guard. Bond is working an open guard so Randleman takes the opportunity to get back to his feet. Randleman misses the shot to the body. Santeri Bond seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Randleman closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Bond quickly recovers to half guard. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Randleman is figuring out what he wants to do next. Randleman tries to pass to full mount but Bond defends it.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bond trying to control from the bottom.
Randleman drops an elbow to the side of Bond's head. Randleman decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet. Bond is breathing heavily. Randleman drives through with a takedown into Bond's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position. Randleman gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. Bond throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Bond gets caught napping as Randleman dives in and scores a takedown. Bond manages to retain guard. Randleman pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Bond is keeping the position for now. Randleman gets to his feet - Bond follows without any prompting.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Randleman lands with a nice combination. Bond backs away looking to recover. Randleman throws a sloppy head kick and Bond moves out of range easily. Bond looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio. This has been an exciting period of action! Randleman drives through and clinches with Bond against the cage.
Bond tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Randleman just stands there and leans against the cage. Randleman pulls guard. Bond got a little sloppy there for a moment and Randleman has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Bond has managed to get both his arms back between Randleman's legs - danger averted. Randleman pulls Bond in to control the position. Bond wants to get up but he can't break Randleman's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. Randleman has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall. Randleman looking to hit a scissor sweep but Bond is one step ahead there.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Randleman pulls Bond in to control the position. Randleman is scooting his butt against the cage and has managed to get back to his feet. Bond presses him back against the cage, presumably looking to take the fight back to the mat. Randleman escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Bond uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Randleman.

Bond gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Randleman tries to free his leg and advance position but Bond is retaining full guard. Randleman controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Randleman scoring with some ground and pound. Bond will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Randleman pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Bond is keeping the position for now. Randleman is stalling in the full guard. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. Let's hope that Randleman has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Quinton Randleman dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Randleman drives through with a takedown into Bond's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position. Randleman sitting in guard, not really doing much. Bond keeping full guard, as Randleman tries to pass. Randleman is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's one minute gone in the round. Randleman makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. Bond controls Randleman momentarily but Randleman frees himself. Randleman stands and throws Bond's legs to the side, diving into side control. Randleman is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position. Randleman thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Bond struggling a bit here. Randleman taking a breather here. Randleman lands a nice forearm strike. Bond takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
Randleman really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Bond. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Randleman content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though. Randleman creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots. Randleman decides to stand back up. Randleman closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Bond trying to remain calm as Randleman controls from the top position. Randleman tries for a kimura but Bond is defending well. Randleman has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Randleman looking to score a takedown here. Bond is defending well but Randleman drives through and ends up in Bond's guard. Randleman sitting in guard here, content to control. Randleman stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Bond swivels though and keeps the full guard. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Randleman with a nice head shot there. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Quinton Randleman showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!
Bond avoids the head kick by Randleman.
Bond throws a push kick but Randleman slaps the foot to one side. Randleman fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Bond, pushing him back against the cage. A short body shot lands from Randleman as the two fighters clinch.
Randleman pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Randleman pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Bond misses with a body kick. Randleman shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. Randleman working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Both fighters are breathing heavily. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Randleman seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bond tries to get to full guard but Randleman has control of the leg. Randleman is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Well, if Randleman is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Randleman lands a nice short elbow. Nice strikes from Randleman there.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Randleman frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Randleman landing strikes from the mount. Randleman with shots to the head and body - Bond looks very uncomfortable down there.
Bond is rocked! The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Randleman cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

Bond takes a big shot to the dome and his eyes have rolled back in his head! Randleman's killer instinct has kicked in as he finishes the fight with more strikes. Impressive finish.
