Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Geese Fury (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Meyer Squibb (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Meyer Squibb will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
11 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Geese Fury! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Meyer Squibb! The judges for this bout are Hirohito Nitta, Tatsuya Matsuyama and Shigeki Fujiwara.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Squibb closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Fury's guard. Squibb's corner is telling him to maintain position. Fury is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Squibb is controlling him. Squibb won't allow Fury to sweep him here. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Fury is working hard here to advance position. Squibb stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Fury swivels though and keeps the full guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Fury is trying to control the position but Squibb postures up. Fury has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance. Squibb looking to control the position here, rather than advance. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace. Fury wants to stand and escape but Squibb is having none of it.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Squibb has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Fury is landing a low percentage of strikes.
That's one minute gone in the round. Squibb looks to score with a jab to the body but Fury is just out of range. Squibb takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
It looks like Meyer Squibb has been cut. Squibb feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Fury can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Squibb controls the pace. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Squibb throws an elbow that misses. Fury uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Squibb's guard. Nice move by Fury!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Squibb is looking for a triangle but Fury pushes his legs off easily.
Squibb looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Fury sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Squibb's guard. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Fury wants to control but Squibb is keeping him busy. Squibb manages to get to full guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Squibb looking to hit a scissor sweep but Fury is one step ahead there. Squibb is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control. Fury knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Squibb on the ground. Fury got a little sloppy there for a moment and Squibb has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Fury has managed to get both his arms back between Squibb's legs - danger averted. Squibb is looking to cinch up a triangle. Fury throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Squibb's body to avoid the submission. Squibb has instead reached around Fury's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Squibb arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Guillotine). Meyer Squibb! After winning the bout, Meyer Squibb thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
