Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Ante Gotovina (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ernesto Panado (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Panado has chosen Lorde - Team as his entrance music. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

The judges for this bout are Thiago Cunha, Mauricio Rocha and Emerson Jorge.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gotovina fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Panado has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Gotovina throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
An inside leg kick lands from Gotovina.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Panado is defended easily by Gotovina.
Gotovina swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect.
Gotovina punishes Panado's body with a nice straight punch.
Gotovina scores with a body shot.
Gotovina connects with a body shot that sends Panado's belly button to the back.
Panado moves out of range as Gotovina throws a body kick.
No luck for Panado with that takedown attempt.
It appears Gotovina was looking to counter with a kick there.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Panado drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Panado blocks a head kick by Gotovina.
Panado throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Gotovina tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Panado is in Gotovina's guard.

Gotovina is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Panado asserts his dominance and retains side control.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Panado is on top in guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Gotovina controls Panado momentarily but Panado frees himself.
Gotovina manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Panado manages to get himself to full guard.

Panado has his foot on Gotovina's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Gotovina works his way back into a safe position though.

Panado is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Gotovina defends well.
Gotovina has improved his flexibility recently so we will have to see if he can use that to his advantage.

Panado looking for a triangle here. Gotovina is fighting it but it looks tight! Panado pulls the arm across and this one won't last much longer! Nope, Gotovina is tapping out - this one is all over!

After winning the bout, Ernesto Panado thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
