Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Alexandre Firmino, Daniel Cesar and Luis Engracia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Edward has taken the fight to the clinch.

Edward pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Edward shoots for a double leg takedown but Cruz sprawls well. He's pushed Edward's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Edward jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Cruz walks away with a smile on his face. Edward gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Cruz jerks Edward's head down, straight into the path of a devastating knee! Edward drops to the floor in a crumpled heap! Cruz goes to throw a finishing haymaker but pulls out - good sportsmanship from Cruz because Edward was completely out of it. That was a nice finish - just the right level of brutality to send everyone home happy.
