Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Freeman Harding (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chris Carerra (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Freeman Harding has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Freeman Harding seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Freeman Harding! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Chris Carerra! The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Frank Antenori and .
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Carerra swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Carerra has Harding up against the cage in a clinch.
Harding goes for a takedown attempt but Carerra pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Harding slips a jab and a cross from Carerra.
Carerra bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Carerra thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Harding is looking to reverse the position. Carerra wants to lay and pray for a moment but Harding keeps working. Harding tries to get back to half guard but can't.
That's one minute gone in the round. Harding is working hard here to advance position. Carerra wants to lay and pray for a moment but Harding keeps working. Harding throws a couple of punches but he's in a bad position and they don't land. Carerra wants to control but Harding is keeping him busy. The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up. Carerra working away.

That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Carerra tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Carerra takes the fight into the clinch. Harding has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Carerra avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. Harding leaning his opponent against the cage. Harding stalling here - the referee won't stand for too much of that.

Harding gets a warning from the ref for wasting time.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Carerra pulls guard effortlessly. Harding is looking to stand up but Carerra won't let him. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Harding accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Carerra is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Carerra pulls Harding in close to his closed guard and prevents Harding from doing any damage or advancing position. Carerra tries to land a sweep but no joy.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Carerra has his foot on Harding's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Harding works his way back into a safe position though. Harding lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Harding landing with the ground and pound. Harding has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Carerra bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Harding's guard. Carerra postures up.
Harding is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Carerra is aware though and is defending well. Carerra wants to control from the top but Harding keeps moving. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Carerra wanted to stand there but Harding had control of the position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Carerra bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Carerra stands up and we're back to a striking position. Carerra fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Harding, pushing him back against the cage. Harding jumps guard.
Harding thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Harding trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from! Harding not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

That's one minute gone in the round. Carerra is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Harding wants to sweep but no luck. Carerra missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Harding pulls Carerra in to control the position. Carerra stays in close to Harding's body and controls the position.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Carerra throws a leg kick but Harding sees it coming and moves out of range. Harding fires out a quick counter leg kick but Carerra just manages to avoid it. Carerra drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Carerra got a little sloppy there for a moment and Harding has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Carerra has managed to get both his arms back between Harding's legs - danger averted.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Carerra stands and steps away. Harding gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. Carerra drives through with a takedown into Harding's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position. Carerra is breathing heavily. Carerra is stalling in the full guard. Carerra throwing strikes but missing. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Carerra got a little sloppy there for a moment and Harding has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Carerra has managed to get both his arms back between Harding's legs - danger averted.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Harding keeping moving, preventing Carerra from controlling successfully. Carerra slips nicely into half guard, despite the strikes coming from Harding. Harding trying to control here.

That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Carerra closes the distance and clinches. Harding looks to throw an elbow but misses. Carerra is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Harding is keeping busy. Harding trying to stall but Carerra improves his position.

The pace really dropping off here, momentarily. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Carerra keeps control of Harding as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Chris Carerra showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's time! Back to the action! This is the final round!

Carerra's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige. Harding wants to get back to full guard. Carerra is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Harding doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Carerra.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Carerra trying to mount his opponent but Harding defends it. Harding is looking to improve his position.
Chris Carerra has got the better of the ground game so far. Carerra performing his best blanket impression for a moment. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.

Carerra has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Harding clear over his head and slammed him to the mat! Carerra really has the hooks in deep now - there seems like no escape for Harding. Even with his hooks in, Carerra manages to miss with strikes from the back.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Harding is staying cool under pressure, defending well against the rear naked choke attempt from his opponent.
I really don't envy Harding right now.
Freeman Harding has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Chris Carerra is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
And that's the end of the fight! I would just about give that final round to Chris Carerra. Well Carerra has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
