Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Millard Zamora (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Stephen Kaufman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Stephen Kaufman looks lathargic as he enters the arena. Wake up son, you're about to have a fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Millard Zamora! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Stephen Kaufman! The judges for this bout are Eddie Farnsworth, John Kavanagh and Anthony Taglia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Zamora rushes Kaufman and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Zamora is trying to break the clinch but Kaufman is controlling him. Kaufman is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. A frustrated look appears on Kaufman's face as he tries to break the clinch. Zamora could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Zamora pulls guard successfully.
Zamora is adopting a defensive guard. Kaufman trying to pass the guard. He's being very persistent here but Zamora manages to land a sweep and now he's on top!
Zamora gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. Zamora displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Kaufman. Kaufman looks winded! We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Zamora moves into the clinch successfully.
Zamora manages to pull guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kaufman postures up.
Zamora throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.
Kaufman avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Zamora might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Zamora is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Kaufman is controlling him. Kaufman pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Zamora is keeping the position for now. Zamora throws his legs up looking for a submission but Kaufman uses it to pass to side control.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Zamora tries to buck Kaufman off but Kaufman is having none of it. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Kaufman in side control, throwing shots but Zamora defends. Kaufman is looking to take a break and control but Zamora is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. The referee tells the fighters to keep busy. Zamora is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here. Zamora struggling a bit here.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Zamora is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Kaufman is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Kaufman shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Zamora as he avoids it easily. Zamora tries to counter by clinching up but Kaufman breaks away and moves out of range. Zamora shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Kaufman as he avoids it easily. Kaufman stalks Zamora and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Zamora's face. Zamora staggers backwards, shaken. Zamora has taken the fight to the clinch.
Zamora jumps into guard, dragging Kaufman to the mat.
Zamora is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Kaufman defends well. Zamora has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but Kaufman has passed into side control.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Kaufman trying to control the action but Zamora is working from the bottom. Kaufman working away. Kaufman has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Kaufman moves into the clinch. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Millard Zamora will probably get the nod. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Zamora lands an upkick as Kaufman stands over him. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Zamora has a closed guard, preventing Kaufman from standing up. Zamora tries to land a sweep but no joy. Kaufman is breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. Millard Zamora overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Zamora wants to stand and escape but Kaufman is having none of it.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Kaufman lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh. Kaufman misses with a head kick.
Zamora bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Kaufman on the wrong end of some ground and pound. Zamora landing strikes. Zamora goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Kaufman rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Zamora's guard! Nice work there by Kaufman! Zamora is trying to control the position but Kaufman postures up. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Zamora is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Kaufman is aware though and is defending well.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kaufman trying to control but Zamora is working from the bottom. Zamora controls Kaufman momentarily but Kaufman frees himself. Zamora keeping moving, preventing Kaufman from controlling successfully. Zamora looking to control.
Kaufman in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Kaufman avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kaufman stands and throws Zamora's legs to the side, diving into side control. Kaufman controlling from side mount. Zamora struggling a bit here.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Sloppy strikes there by Kaufman. Kaufman laying and praying for a moment but Zamora takes advantage and regains half guard. Zamora is looking for a sweep. Kaufman is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Zamora is trying to control but can't.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Kaufman perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Kaufman displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Zamora. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close second round but Stephen Kaufman will probably get the nod - 10:9. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! This is the final round!

Zamora is keeping the position for now. Zamora looking for a sweep. Not yet Zamora, not yet. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Kaufman trying to control but Zamora is working from the bottom. Kaufman takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Kaufman won't allow Zamora to sweep him here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kaufman trying to control but Zamora is working from the bottom. Kaufman stays in close to Zamora's body and controls the position. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. Kaufman decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Zamora, up you get! Zamora closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Kaufman takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
Zamora is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Kaufman is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Zamora is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Kaufman knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kaufman manages to get back to half guard. Kaufman trying to hold on to Zamora's head to control him but Zamora postures up.
Zamora seems to be working for a kimura but Kaufman defends the submission attempt. Zamora thows a huge punch but Kaufman dodges it nicely.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Kaufman is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Zamora scores with a couple of nice shots. Zamora stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being. Kaufman has Zamora up against the cage in a clinch.
Zamora pulls guard successfully.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Zamora is on top in guard.
Our spies down at at Combat Center inform us that Kaufman has really been working on his submissions in the buildup to this fight. Will it pay off? Kaufman throws some sloppy strikes off his back.
Kaufman is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Zamora stands up from Kaufman's guard - Zamora perhaps looking for a knockout.

Stephen Kaufman is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Zamora closes the distance and clinches. Kaufman wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Zamora has him pressed against the cage. Zamora is trying to pull guard but Kaufman has him pressed against the cage. Come on Zamora - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.
