Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Vinicius Scipio (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Waylon Joy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Scipio kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Romulus. Waylon Joy has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Vinicius Scipio's chin.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Aleksei Zolotukhin, Dmitry Maklakov and Viktor Lagutenko.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Scipio scoring well with a low kick there.
Scipio moves in looking to clinch but Joy pushes him off.
Scipio misses with a head kick.
Joy misses with a body shot.
Scipio went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Joy has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Scipio is defended easily by Joy.
Joy pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Scipio connects with a high kick.
Joy leaves Scipio with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
A slapping body kick lands there for Scipio.
Joy has managed to clinch.
Joy missing with knees to the body.
Scipio tries to circle away but Joy has him pinned against the cage.
Joy lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the cage.
Joy jumps guard.
Joy is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a triangle but Scipio frees his head nicely. Oh but Joy has switched to an armbar! Scipio is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
