Teló comes to the cage accompanied by Michel Telo - Ai se eu te pego. Karimov has chosen ACDC - Hells Bells as his entrance music. The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Frank Antenori and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Karimov ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Teló ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Karimov moves away.
Teló throws a leg kick but Karimov checks it.
Karimov looks like he wants to counter punch here.
Teló moves away from the strike by Karimov.
Karimov throws a leg kick which misses Teló's front leg but catches the back leg as Teló tries to avoid it.
Teló misses the jab.
We've been hearing reports that Teló has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
Karimov lands a jab to the head.
Teló misses with an uppercut
and Karimov counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Karimov walks forward, straight into a front kick from Teló.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Teló throws a low kick but it's checked well by Karimov.
Karimov looks for the body kick but Teló saw that one coming.
Teló lands a nice shot to the body.
Karimov just misses with a punch to the body.

Good leg kick by Karimov there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

Karimov takes a kick to the side of the head.
Teló throws out a powerful jab.

Teló on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
Karimov throws a big shot that misses.
Teló misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Teló backing away here, and Karimov unleashes a leg kick that just misses.
Michel Teló seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Teló throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Karimov stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Karimov goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.

and Karimov counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

and Karimov counters with a straight right hand.
Teló misses the shot to the body.
A combination from Teló does no damage.
And Karimov responds with a good body kick, but Teló manages to step out the way in time.
Karimov throws a wild body kick that Teló sees coming a mile off.
Teló tries to counter with a takedown but Karimov is quick to defend against it.
Karimov jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
Teló shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Karimov napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Teló in side control, working for a kimura. He's got hold of an arm and he's torquing it... Karimov is tapping! That's the end of the fight!
