Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Anton Chekhov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brynden Epicity (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Chekhov might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to КАТЮШA. Epicity comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Doomed User by Deftones kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

22 - 10 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Brynden Epicity! The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Stewart Dunkirk and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Epicity lands a nice looking body kick. Epicity checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time. Epicity misses with a body punch
and Chekhov counters with a nice uppercut. Brynden Epicity seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Epicity misses with a leg kick and Chekhov counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

Epicity crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Chekhov - the referee stops the clock and Epicity gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Chekhov. Epicity manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes. Epicity goes for a spinning back kick but it misses. Chekhov blocks the body kick.
Chekhov is looking for a counter combo. Chekhov's corner calls for a 1-2. Chekhov obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Anton Chekhov will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Brynden Epicity's cut. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

Chekhov has not gone for a single takedown so far in this fight, which seems like a very strange tactic when you consider that he has the superior wrestling and BJJ. Epicity lets loose with a powerful body kick. Chekhov will feel that in the morning. Epicity lands a really nice looking cross but Chekhov seems unphased.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Chekhov lands two more shots before the referee has chance to intervene - what a finish! Chekhov celebrates with his corner as the crowd cheer loudly.

Our winner, Anton Chekhov, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans. In defeat, Brynden Epicity stepped up to the mic, saying 'Is what it is. I came to fight, Ozzy is legit. I'll be back in the octagon in no time and will fight to destroy my opponent like I always do.'.
