Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Donnie Bradshaw (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Flop (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). John Flop is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Donnie Bradshaw!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, John Flop!
The judges for this bout are Ren Mimura, Kenichi Hosakawa and Yasuomi Hirokawa.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Flop fails with an attempt to clinch.
Bradshaw throws a sloppy head kick and Flop moves out of range easily.
Bradshaw sets himself, and Flop steps forward looking for the clinch! Bradshaw avoids it this time.

Flop moves into range and clinches up with Bradshaw.
Flop misses with a knee strike.
Bradshaw jumps guard but Flop turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.

Flop is trying to trip Bradshaw. He has hold of a leg but Bradshaw is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Flop persists though and gets the takedown into guard.
Bradshaw wants to sweep but no luck.
Bradshaw manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Flop manages to get himself to full guard.


Bradshaw has gone for a leg lock! Flop slips out almost immediately though and dives into Bradshaw's guard.

Flop trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Flop wants to stand but Bradshaw is controlling his posture from full guard.

Flop working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Bradshaw's head.
Flop trying to control but Bradshaw is working from the bottom.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Flop wants to pass the guard but Bradshaw is keeping the position.
Flop trying to control the position from guard on top but Bradshaw is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Bradshaw tries to land a sweep but no joy.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Bradshaw is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Flop defends well.

Bradshaw working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Flop doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Flop manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Flop pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Bradshaw is keeping the position for now.
Bradshaw has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but Flop has passed into side control.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Bradshaw struggling a bit here.

Bradshaw is not content to let Flop control the position.
Bradshaw tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Flop wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Bradshaw is trying to buck Flop off.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.

Flop decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

Bradshaw makes some distance and scrambles quickly back to his feet. Nice work!

Bradshaw gets caught napping as Flop dives in and scores a takedown. Bradshaw manages to retain guard.
Bradshaw will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Flop trying to control the position from guard on top but Bradshaw is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Bradshaw doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.

Bradshaw is trying to control the position but Flop postures up.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

John Flop dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.


Flop tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

Flop fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Bradshaw, pushing him back against the cage.
Flop has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Flop lands a damaging elbow.


It looks like Donnie Bradshaw has been cut.

Bradshaw has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Flop regains guard immediately.

Flop has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Bradshaw off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.
Flop lands a jab to the head.

Flop drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Bradshaw is looking to stand back up but Flop counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Bradshaw.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Flop content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.

Flop trying to control from half guard but Bradshaw is working away.
Bradshaw works his way to full guard. Good work.
Flop should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Bradshaw tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Bradshaw throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land.

Flop avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Flop trying to stand up but can't free himself from Bradshaw's guard.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Flop keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Bradshaw's head.
Flop won't allow Bradshaw to get back to his feet.

Bradshaw looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Flop passes into half guard.

Flop is trying to work for a kimura but Bradshaw is defending well.
Flop wants to get back to his feet.
Flop missing with some ground and pound from the half guard.

Flop trying to control from half guard but Bradshaw is working away.
Flop wants to free his trapped foot but Bradshaw is holding on for dear life with his legs.
Bradshaw is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.

Bradshaw clinches up against the cage.

Bradshaw is fighting off a takedown attempt but Flop is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Bradshaw to the mat. Bradshaw regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.

Bradshaw kicks Flop off and gets to his feet.

Flop rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Bradshaw moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Flop tries to clinch there but Bradshaw circles away.

Flop closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Bradshaw quickly recovers to half guard.
Flop is breathing heavily.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Bradshaw wants to control but Flop is keeping busy.
Bradshaw moves into full guard.
Flop wants to control from the top but Bradshaw keeps moving.

John Flop showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Bradshaw swats away the attempt to clinch by Flop.

Bradshaw feints and as Flop raises his hands in defense, Bradshaw changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Flop is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched.
Bradshaw looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Bradshaw jumps guard but Flop turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.

Flop drags the fight down to the ground.
Flop looking to control.

Bradshaw drops back looking for a leg! Flop is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Flop manages to kick Bradshaw off! Bradshaw jumps back into Flop's guard.
Bradshaw connects with a couple of short punches.

Flop wants to stand and escape but Bradshaw is having none of it.

Flop is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

Flop takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
Bradshaw is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.

Flop has Bradshaw pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Flop pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Bradshaw tumbling to the mat - Flop dives into Bradshaw's guard.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Bradshaw is looking to stand up but Flop isn't so interested in that idea.
Donnie Bradshaw has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
John Flop is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
Flop slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.

John Flop comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Flop has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
