2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Zdravko Saric! The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Frank Antenori and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kennamer fails with a takedown attempt. Kennamer takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
It looks like James Daniel Kennamer has been cut. Saric lands with a straight right. Kennamer didn't see that one coming. Saric misses with a hook. Kennamer ducked under it nicely. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Kennamer ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. He catches Saric napping and manages to drive through into side control! Kennamer has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Kennamer wants to control but Saric is keeping him busy. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Kennamer working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Saric won't allow Kennamer to pass to mount.
