Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Hank Cricket (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ganluigi Abate (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Cricket might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Shake that ass. Hank Cricket has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Hank Cricket! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Ganluigi Abate! The judges for this bout are Jeff Smith, Roger Salmon and Ryoma Takatsuka.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Abate connects with an inside leg kick. Abate throws a head kick that misses. Abate fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Cricket looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Abate throws a left and a right that both miss
and Cricket counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Abate!
Cricket looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
Cricket tries for a kimura but Abate is defending well. Abate should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Abate tries to improve position but can't.

Cricket thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Cricket swings around for an armbar but Abate sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Cricket's guard.
Abate content to sit in guard, stalling... Great. Oh but he could get punished here because Cricket has locked up a guillotine! Cricket's face is contorted as he sqeezes tight on the submission attempt - will he finish? Abate is holding on here and Cricket must be using up a lot of energy. Abate has gone limp! He's out! He's out cold! Cricket gets to his feet, tossing aside his stricken foe. Arms raised, he milks the applause from the crowd. Great submission!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Guillotine). Hank Cricket! In his post fight interview, Hank Cricket started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
