Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Xavier David (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Clint Eastwoodie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think David might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Bring The Pain. Eastwoodie has chosen 3005 - Scars on Broadway as his entrance music. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are David Schapiro, Jonathan Paton and John Kavanagh.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
David closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Eastwoodie is trying to buck David off.
David tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no David has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Eastwoodie gives up the full mount - oops, sloppy defensive grappling there!
Eastwoodie trying desperately to get to his feet.
David looking to secure an arm triangle but Eastwoodie defends it well.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Eastwoodie wants to try and get back to his feet.

Eastwoodie has given up his back, trying to stand up. Not clever.
David thows a huge left but connects with the canvas and not his opponent.
David is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. Eastwoodie defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined.
David trying desperately to keep hold of the dominant position.
Eastwoodie is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if David gets his way!

Eastwoodie covers up after taking a massive shot to the side of the head.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
David patiently working for the choke. Which fighter will keep their nerve here?

Eastwoodie is trying to defend against the choke here but David has an arm under his chin. This one might not last much longer. David Tightens the hold and Eastwoodie taps out furiously! David displays superior BJJ to win the fight.
