Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Oishi Yoshio (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Naoki Fujii (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Yoshio's entrance music is "Stronger" by Kanye West. A fine choice. Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Oishi Yoshio! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 1 - 1, fighting out of Tokyo, Naoki Fujii! The judges for this bout are Shigeki Sano, Shirou Masuda and Yukihiro Yamamoto.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Yoshio closes the distance and pushes Fujii back into the ropes. Yoshio taking a breather. Yoshio misses with a body punch.
The two fighters are working to gain dominance in the clinch. Yoshio struggles to land a body shot inside as Fujii controls his hands.
A battle for position here, against the ropes. The fighters are pressed against the ropes, as the pace of the fight slows. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. The ref breaks the fighters up, due to lack of action by Oishi Yoshio. Fujii lands with a nice body punch. Fujii throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Yoshio's waist but Yoshio gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Fujii off to one side. Yoshio misses with a body shot.
That's one minute gone in the round. Fujii walks into a left hand. Yoshio throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean. Fujii misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Fujii gets the takedown into side control. Fujii tries to move into full mount but can't pass Yoshio's legs. Yoshio is looking for a sweep. The strikes coming from Fujii are missing the target in this wave of attacks. Fujii is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Yoshio knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Fujii tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Fujii has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
That's two minutes gone in the round. You can see the frustration on Yoshio's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Yoshio is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Fujii is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Fujii fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Oishi Yoshio has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Naoki Fujii. Fujii thows a body shot but no joy.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Fujii swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Horrible takedown by Fujii or perhaps it was just good defense by Yoshio which made him look bad. Yoshio throws a series of punches but Fujii avoids them all with ease. Fujii fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Oishi Yoshio seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Fujii feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Yoshio is trying to control the position from the bottom.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Yoshio looking to hit a scissor sweep but Fujii is one step ahead there. Fujii pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Yoshio is keeping the position for now. Yoshio is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Fujii has gone for a leg lock! Yoshio slips out almost immediately though and dives into Fujii's guard. The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves. Fujii is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Yoshio wants to control from the top but Fujii keeps moving. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Naoki Fujii will probably get the nod. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!
Fujii scores a takedown into full mount! Fujii with some aggressive grappling here, looking for the finish.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Fujii looking to secure an arm triangle but Yoshio defends it well. Fujii has control of Yoshio's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Yoshio regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Fujii is breathing heavily. Yoshio is trying desperately to improve position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Yoshio wants to hold on but Fujii pushes him away. Fujii throwing sloppy strikes, which aren't doing any damage. Yoshio is working to get back to half guard.
Fujii tries to control but Yoshio wriggling away. Fujii controlling the position easily from mount. Yoshio is controlling an arm, preventing Fujii from taking his back. Although keeping him in mount is no better to be honest.
Yoshio is in all sorts of trouble here.

That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Fujii sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it! Yoshio wants to control but Fujii is having none of it. Yoshio working to try and regain half guard.
Yoshio gets back to half guard. Fujii wants to pass to mount but Yoshio is defending the position. Fujii stalling. Yoshio avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Fujii.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Yoshio keeps control of the position for the meantime. Fujii thows a huge punch but Yoshio dodges it nicely.
Fujii is controlling the pace.
Fujii not landing any meaningful shots this time. Yoshio pushes Fujii off looking to stand but Fujii dives back in and keeps control.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Fujii wants to lay and pray for a moment but Yoshio keeps working. Yoshio trying to hold on to Fujii's head to control him but Fujii postures up.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Fujii closes this distance looking for a takedown but Yoshio circles away. Yoshio looks to score with a jab to the body but Fujii is just out of range. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Yoshio tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Fujii is able to avoid easily. Fujii shoots in looking for a takedown. Yoshio tries to sprawl out of it but Fujii keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the ropes. Yoshio manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Naoki Fujii showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. And we move into the final round!

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Fujii will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Fujii takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Yoshio lands a right hand that snaps the head of Fujii backwards. A head punch on the inside from Yoshio fails to land. Yoshio lands with a short head shot on the inside. Fujii jumps guard but Yoshio stands there with Fujii around his waist. Fujii gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Yoshio scores with a nice hook to the head. Yoshio lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the ropes. The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Yoshio takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life. Yoshio lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Fujii or not. Naoki Fujii is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Yoshio lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Fujii backwards. Fujii blocks a body shot from Yoshio. Yoshio pushes Fujii back against the ropes and unloads with a body punch. Yoshio has a couple of punches blocked by Fujii.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Yoshio lands a left hand that snaps the head of Fujii backwards. With the fighters clinched against the ropes, Yoshio creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut. Yoshio misses with a body punch.
A short right from Yoshio on the inside. Yoshio tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked. Fujii goes for a takedown in the clinch but Yoshio prevents it.

And that's the end of the fight! Oishi Yoshio showed his dominance in that final round. I think Fujii has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
