Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Ricky Vegas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Aron Karlsson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Ricky Vegas has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Ricky Vegas seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vegas shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
Karlsson has momentary wrist control but Vegas slips an elbow through the middle.
Vegas trying to control the position from guard on top but Karlsson is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Vegas definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Vegas seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
Karlsson pulls Vegas in close to prevent any damage.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Karlsson has control of Vegas's left arm, preventing Vegas from doing any damage.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Karlsson can do anything to dispel that myth.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Karlsson pulls Vegas in close to prevent any damage.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
Vegas shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Karlsson but Karlsson pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Karlsson closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Vegas's guard.

Vegas wants to hit a switch here but Karlsson passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Vegas there!
Karlsson takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Vegas is trying to control the position here but Karlsson swings around for an armbar and he's got it! This one is all over, courtesy of a slick submission by Karlsson!
