Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Cameron Poe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Uri Haber (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Poe's entrance music is How it is done. A fine choice. Uri Haber has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
24 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Cameron Poe! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
13 - 5 - 1, fighting out of Helsinki, Uri Haber! The judges for this bout are Ryoma Takatsuka, Paul Gruel and Chris Saunders.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nice defenses there by Poe. Poe throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Haber rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Haber takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Poe avoids the head kick by Haber.
Poe slips a jab from Haber. Poe gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Poe slips a jab from Haber. Poe swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Poe fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Haber manages to avoid it. Haber checks a leg kick. Cameron Poe seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Poe connects with an inside leg kick. Haber slips under a jab from Poe. Haber changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt. Poe misses with an uppercut. Jab, jab by Poe - just one landing. Haber steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Poe. Haber with the counter takedown but Poe avoids it easily. Poe tries to close the distance and clinch but Haber swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. This has been an exciting period of action! Poe throws a half hearted mid kick. Haber misses with a hook.

Haber slips under a jab from Poe. Poe throws a front kick aimed at Haber's knee but Haber avoids it well. Poe connects with the punch. Haber throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Haber has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat. Haber throws a low kick, looking for Poe's leg but Poe calmly moves out of range. Haber throws a leg kick that misses. Haber thows a leg kick but Poe checks it and Poe counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Haber thinking. Poe leaves Haber with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Poe throws a counter high kick but Haber was just alert enough to avoid it. Cameron Poe is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Haber checks a leg kick. Horrible takedown attempt by Haber or perhaps it was just good defense by Poe, which made it look bad. Poe tries to close the distance and clinch up but Haber swats him away and circles back towards the center. Poe misses with a lunging right hand
and Haber counters with a lovely straight right hand! Poe lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt. Poe lands a nice leg kick that just misses Haber's sensitive parts.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Haber swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Haber takes a shot right to the bread basket. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Poe lands a nice leg kick that just misses Haber's sensitive parts. Haber on the wrong end of a nice hook. Haber misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Poe throws a poor cross that misses
and Haber counters with a lovely straight right hand! Good leg kick by Haber there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
A head kick misses from Haber. Haber darts in and out, connecting with a jab. Poe throws a head kick that half lands.
It looks like Uri Haber has been cut. Poe throws a body kick despite being completely out of range and Poe takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Haber bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Poe's head backwards. Poe connects with a body shot that sends Haber's belly button to the back. Poe throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
Haber throws an overhand right that lands on Poe's shoulder, as Poe tries to avoid the shot. Poe throws a quick inside leg kick.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Haber ducks under a wild hook from Poe. Poe gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Haber to score an easy takedown into full guard. Haber trying to control but Poe is working from the bottom. Poe is pulling down on Haber's head. It's preventing any offense from Haber, at least for the moment. Haber drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Poe dives on top into guard. Poe slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Poe postures up.
Poe showing good wrestling skills to control the position. Poe knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Haber on the ground. Poe preventing the sweep. Haber trying to control the position.
Poe has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Haber managing to control the position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Cameron Poe dominated that round. The cut man is working on Uri Haber's cut. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Haber throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Poe throws a leg kick but Haber sees it coming and checks it nicely. Poe swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Haber tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away. Poe uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Haber.
Poe looks to land a left hand but Haber moved out of range nicely. Poe misses with an uppercut. Haber saw that one coming. Haber throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
Cameron Poe is winning the standup battle so far. Haber misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Poe swings for the body but Haber moves out of range.
A big right from Poe misses. A slow jab from Haber misses its intended target. Haber throws a nice inside leg kick. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Haber on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. Haber lands a slapping body shot.
Poe scores with a sloppy right hand. Haber should have avoided that one. Haber connects with a high kick. Poe uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Haber.
That's one minute gone in the round. Haber scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Poe doesn't seem bothered though. Poe scores with a decent looking hook. Nice uppercut lands for Poe. That snapped Haber's head back.
Haber fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Poe manages to avoid it. Poe scores with a slapping inside leg kick. A jab from Haber misses. Haber tries to bum rush Poe with a series of wild strikes but Poe uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Poe is looking to land body kicks. Haber throws a looping overhand right but Poe ducks down to avoid it. A counter left hand to the body from Poe misses its target. Haber misses with an uppercut. A slapping leg kick lands for Poe.
Haber tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Poe is able to avoid easily. Poe tries to land a front kick but Haber steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed. Poe defending well as Haber loads up on a big left hand. Poe throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Haber feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Poes jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Haber throws out a token jab with nothing on it. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Poe cracks the inside of Haber's front leg. Haber blocks a low kick nicely. Ouch! a nice leg kick from Haber, right into the meat.

and Haber decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Poe's guard. Haber postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Poe is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Haber, into his guard.
Haber has his foot on Poe's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Poe works his way back into a safe position though. Haber not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Haber is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Haber is looking for a triangle but Poe pushes his legs off easily.
Poe slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Haber seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Poe looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Poe wants to control from the top but Haber keeps moving.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Poe thuds his shin into the meat of Haber's side. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close second round but Uri Haber will probably get the nod - 10:9. The cut man is working on Uri Haber's cut. That's time! Back to the action! This is the final round!
Poe misses the jab. Poe throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Haber. The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Haber checks a leg kick. Poe avoids the body shot from Haber.
Poe throws a looping overhand right but Haber ducks down to avoid it. Jab by Poe. Poe takes a swing at Haber's ribcage but misses. Haber is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Poe. A swing and a miss from Haber. Poe tried to score with a low kick but Haber checks it. Poe misses with a looping left. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Haber scores with the left hand. Poe knows he should have avoided that one. Poe throws a wild body kick that Haber sees coming a mile off. And an attempted straight right on the counter from Haber! But no joy. Poe misses with a low kick.
Haber changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt. Haber thuds a left hand into Poe's body. Haber closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Poe tries to roll over but Haber keeps him under control.
That's one minute gone in the round. Poe wants to control but Haber is keeping busy and won't allow it. Haber wants to work for an arm triangle but Poe is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Haber wants to lay and pray for a moment but Poe keeps working. Poe is trying to control but can't.
Poe has hold of Haber's hands but Haber slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow. Haber wants to lay and pray for a moment but Poe keeps working. Poe wants to improve his position but Haber is controlling well.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Haber in particular looking to stall. Haber is trying to control the action in half guard but Poe is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Haber is trying to work for a kimura but Poe is defending well.
Haber is working for a submission of some sort.
Haber is thwarting Poe's attempts to control the position. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Haber is stalling here. Poe is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Haber seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Poe has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work. Haber struggling a bit here. Poe trying to control the action but Haber is working from the bottom.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Haber struggling a bit here. Poe wants to lay and pray for a moment but Haber keeps working. Poe staying calm. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! You can see the frustration on Haber's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
And that's the end of the fight! I would just about give that final round to Uri Haber. I think Haber has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
