Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Brian Murphy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Staph Aureus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Murphy might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Róisín Murphy - Primitive. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

34 - 27 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Staph Aureus!
The judges for this bout are Jeff Smith, Ryoma Takatsuka and Roger Salmon.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Murphy connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Aureus's hands.
It looks like Staph Aureus has been cut.
Thud! ouch! good body kick from Murphy - that will leave a mark!
Good shot there by Murphy.
Murphy cracks Aureus with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Murphy throws a head kick but Aureus moves out of range.
Aureus looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Murphy lands a leg kick that knocks Aureus off balance momentarily.
Aureus shoots and misses
enabling Murphy to counter with a crisp jab.
That has opened up Staph Aureus's cut even more.
Murphy connects with a nice looking jab.
Murphy lands a big head kick that sends Aureus tumbling to the mat! Murphy takes a step backwards and waves Aureus back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Aureus is rocked!
This has been an exciting period of action!
Murphy takes a kick to the body and keeps moving.
Murphy lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Murphy lands a nice leg kick that just misses Aureus's sensitive parts.
Murphy takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Murphy tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Aureus flicks out a counter leg kick but Murphy steps away.
Aureus is looking to clinch.
Aureus walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
That's one minute gone in the round.
A lazy left from Murphy finds it's target.
The cut above Staph Aureus's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Murphy cracks Aureus with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Murphy has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Aureus to stand back up!
Aureus is still on wobbly legs! Can Murphy finish him?
Murphy misses with a head kick.
Aureus seems to have recovered his senses.
Nice cross by Murphy.
Murphy misses with a right hand
and Aureus counters with a straight right hand.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Aureus closes the distance and clinches up with Murphy, looking for a takedown. Aureus pushes Murphy against the cage but Murphy circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Murphy throws a sloppy head kick and Aureus moves out of range easily.
Aureus was about to counter that last move with a leg kick but changes his mind.
Aureus wants to clinch up but Murphy keeps it at a distance.
Danga de danga de dang - Murphy scores with a four punch combination!
Staph Aureus's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
Murphy throws the kick towards the body but Aureus avoids it.
Aureus stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Murphy.
Murphy cracks the inside of Aureus's front leg.
Murphy instigates a clinch.
Aureus trying to land knees to the body.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Aureus misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Murphy.
Aureus tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Murphy's elbow.
Murphy tries a body shot but Aureus blocks it.
Murphy escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Murphy circles away from the clinch attempt.
Aureus takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Murphy cracks Aureus with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Staph Aureus's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:33 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Brian Murphy!
Brian Murphy took some time post fight to say the following; 'Good win, nice game plan by my new manager. I'm on to great things. Version 2.0 is here baby!!'.
The defeated Staph Aureus had this to say: 'You win some you lose some . I'll be back, dont worry about it !'.
