Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Bas Dekkers (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tarik Johnson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dekkers comes to the cage accompanied by Shells - Get your roll on. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 24 - 17 - 1, fighting out of Sydney, Tarik Johnson!
The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Trevor Gratis and Gregory Folan.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dekkers has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Dekkers there as he acknowledges the shot.
A telegraphed right hand from Johnson misses the target.

Johnson is looking to chop away at Dekkers's legs.
Dekkers was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Johnson throws a nice looking combination but Dekkers bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Dekkers keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Johnson scores with a crisp jab that stopped Dekkers in his tracks.

I was talking to Dekkers's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.

The referee is keeping an eye on Dekkers - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.

Our winner, Bas Dekkers, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
The defeated Tarik Johnson had this to say: 'This is truly a devestating lose. Margera is just to good and i think he should move up to a better Org so i can achieve my dream and win the Title. WATCH OUT DFC that title WILL be mine'.
