Gruzinsky comes into the arena with Россия blaring out of the sound system. Brian Pereira has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pereira keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Pereira lands a big head kick that sends Gruzinsky tumbling to the mat! Pereira takes a step backwards and waves Gruzinsky back to his feet - he wants the finish!

A close round but Brian Pereira will probably get the nod.

That's time! Gruzinsky's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Pereira lands an uppercut, right on the button! Gruzinsky tumbles backwards into the cage, staring vacantly into space! He's got no idea where he is, who he is or what day it is... Poor guy.
