Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Nicodemo Romero (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rafal Koks (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Romero's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Lords Of Salem . Koks has chosen DMX - We right here as his entrance music. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Rafal Koks was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

15 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Rafal Koks! The judges for this bout are Shirou Masuda, Yukihiro Yamamoto and Yukihiro Shimada.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Koks uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Romero.
Romero throws a right hand that Koks ducks under and follows up with a left that Koks also avoids with ease. Romero misses with a body shot.
Nicodemo Romero seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Romero jabs Koks right on the nose. Koks blinks but takes it well. Romero jabs Koks to the body, keeping him at a distance. Romero throws a body punch but Koks moves out of range. Koks is clearly trying to counter these attacks from Romero with a body shot. Koks moves out of range of the strikes. It seemed like Koks was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it. Romero takes the fight into the clinch. Romero throws an elbow but it's blocked.

That's one minute gone in the round. Romero lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Romero lands with a shot to the body. Romero looks to throw the jab but Koks is out of range. Romero slips a jab from Koks. Romero is looking to wear down Koks with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment. Koks connects with an inside leg kick. and Koks counters with a good low kick that Romero was not able to check. Romero stuns Koks with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.

An attempted straight right counter from Romero misses the target. Romero looks to score with a jab to the body but Koks is just out of range. This has been an exciting period of action! Good leg kick by Koks there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

Romero tries to close the distance and clinch up but Koks swats him away and circles back towards the center. Koks scores with a crisp jab that stopped Romero in his tracks. Romero misses with a straight left. Romero slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range. Koks's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Romero connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Koks scrambles back to his feet.

The fighters circling - Koks throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Koks connects with a jab. Koks moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross. Romero takes the fight into the clinch. Koks lands a right hand. Koks lands with a light punch inside. Koks blocks an elbow strike. Koks's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Romero is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close second round but I would say that Nicodemo Romero will probably get the nod. Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

Koks was about to counter that last move with a leg kick but changes his mind. Koks slips a straight right by Romero. Koks misses with a straight right. Romero swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect. Romero connects with the punch. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Koks takes a head kick and keeps coming.
The fight stays on the outside here - Romero looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Koks avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Despite the aggression on Koks's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.
