Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Conor McGregor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nick Brandon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). McGregor comes to the cage accompanied by El Chapo by The Game. Nick Brandon has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Conor McGregor's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Conor McGregor! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Nick Brandon! The judges for this bout are Peter Branson, Winston Alpacca and Bart Greer.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Brandon throws an ugly left hook that misses
and McGregor counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Brandon stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from McGregor. Brandon misses with a double jab.
McGregor looked to counter with a high kick but didn't commit. Nick Brandon seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Brandon clinches up with McGregor and pushes him back against the cage. McGregor prevents a takedown attempt there.
McGregor is trying to break free. McGregor is trying to break the clinch but Brandon has him pressed against the cage. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Brandon fails to pull guard.

McGregor gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. McGregor might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
That's one minute gone in the round. McGregor is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Brandon postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Brandon is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Brandon slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. McGregor is pushing Brandon's head away, looking to escape. Brandon manages to hold on to the position though.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. McGregor tries to get back to his feet but has found himself mounted instead. Damn, that's gotta suck. Brandon raining down shots from the mount! Brandon trying to control but he's not successful this time. McGregor tries to buck Brandon off but he can't manage it. Brandon controlling from mount.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Brandon trying to control but McGregor is having none of it. McGregor is looking to get back to his feet - it's going to be hard from this position. Brandon takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Brandon's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige. McGregor is looking to get back to his feet - it's going to be hard from this position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Brandon thowing strikes but they're hitting the gloves, not doing any damage. Brandon fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
Brandon can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as McGregor is looking to escape. Brandon working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet. Brandon jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but McGregor manages to avoid the submission attempt. Brandon is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! McGregor explodes and escapes back to his feet! Nice escape there! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Nick Brandon dominated that round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
McGregor throws a head kick that misses. McGregor looks to land a combination. Brandon sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots. A head kick misses from McGregor. McGregor throws a sloppy head kick and Brandon counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Brandon. Brandon is standing up over McGregor. McGregor looks to escape but Brandon dives into side control.
Brandon trying to control the position but McGregor is working away. McGregor bucks up and tries to throw Brandon off but instead Brandon has got his back! The referee is taking a good look at McGregor as he is on the wrong end of some big shots from Brandon!
That's one minute gone in the round. Brandon is controlling his opponent, waiting for an opportunity to finish. Brandon has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Brandon working for the choke. Brandon trying desperately to keep hold of the dominant position.
McGregor is trying to get back to his feet but he's not managed it yet. McGregor is trying to shake Brandon off. He's managed it and has hopped back to his feet! Brandon won't be happy about giving up the dominant position. Brandon scores with a head kick.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A left lands for McGregor. McGregor plants his feet and lands a nice head kick! McGregor displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Brandon. McGregor is looking to counter with head kicks. Brandon fails to land with a series of punches.
Brandon is breathing heavily. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Brandon fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but McGregor avoids it really well and circles away. Brandon takes one on the chin but seems OK.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Brandon drives through with a takedown into McGregor's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position. McGregor is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Brandon dives into side control.
McGregor is pushing Brandon's head away, looking to escape. Brandon manages to hold on to the position though. Brandon tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Brandon has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! McGregor is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here.
That's four minutes gone in the round. McGregor sneaks out the side door and pushes Brandon away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape. Conor McGregor is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Brandon closes the distance looking to clinch and McGregor counters with a lovely straight right hand! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Conor McGregor will probably get the nod. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!
Brandon blocks a head kick by McGregor.
Brandon tries to counter with a clinch but McGregor shakes him off and moves away. McGregor throws a sloppy head kick and Brandon moves out of range easily. Brandon shoots for a double leg takedown but McGregor sprawls well. He's pushed Brandon's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by McGregor.
McGregor feints and then cracks Brandon's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Brandon down. McGregor throws a head kick that misses. McGregor connects with a high kick. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. McGregor throws a head kick that misses. Brandon shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has McGregor pinned against the cage. McGregor gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. It looked like McGregor was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.

That's going to take a lot out of Nick Brandon. Brandon takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Brandon misses with a double jab
and McGregor counters with a stiff right hand. McGregor misses with a head kick.
Brandon rushes McGregor and presses him up against the cage. Brandon's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Brandon shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. McGregor is trying to defend but Brandon finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
That's two minutes gone in the round. McGregor manages to create a bit of space in order to work his way back to his feet. Brandon keeps hold of his opponent and drives him back against the cage. Brandon changes levels and goes for a takedown here. McGregor fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Conor McGregor is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Good leg kick by McGregor there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
This has been an exciting period of action! Brandon wants to clinch up but McGregor keeps it at a distance. Brandon fails to land the takedown.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Ohhhhh! A huge head kick from McGregor! Brandon is out on his feet! McGregor rushes in and throws more strikes. The ref is looking closely - Brandon is covering up but the punishment is just too much and the ref steps in to stop the fight! Brandon is staring into space, just thankful that the beatdown has ended. Brutal finish.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:10 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Conor McGregor! Conor McGregor decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
