The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Johnson tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Borjigin manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Johnson throws a leg kick
and Borjigin counters with a body kick that brings a smile to the face of both fighters.
Johnson is breathing heavily.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Borjigin, right into the meat.
Borjigin gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Johnson takes a knee to the side of the body.
Borjigin drops Johnson with a big knee straight up the middle! Johnson is covering up against the cage but manages to escape and gets back to his feet!
It looks like Chris Johnson has been cut.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Borjigin lands with a kick to the ribs.
Johnson takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.
Borjigin gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Borjigin jerks Johnson's head down, straight into the path of a devastating knee! Johnson drops to the floor in a crumpled heap! Borjigin goes to throw a finishing haymaker but pulls out - good sportsmanship from Borjigin because Johnson was completely out of it. That was a nice finish - just the right level of brutality to send everyone home happy.
