Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Moka Moka! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Michael Johnson ! The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Sandra Marshall and Winston Alpacca.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Moka defending well as Johnson loads up on a big left hand. Moka tries to keep at a distance but Johnson has taken the fight into the clinch. Johnson works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard. Moka has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Johnson off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds. Johnson with a poor takedown and Moka counters with a flying knee. Nice. Johnson moves into the clinch successfully.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Moka escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Johnson moves out of range as Moka throws a body kick.
Moka looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Moka fails with a takedown attempt. Moka fails in his attempt to clinch. Johnson gets in close and instigates a clinch. Johnson is working for takedown but Moka is calmly controlling the position for now. Johnson is trying to break the clinch but Moka has him pressed against the cage.
That's one minute gone in the round. Moka drops down looking for an ankle pick but Johnson pulls his leg out and moves away.
Moka pushes Johnson up against the cage in a clinch. The referee calls for Johnson to work.
Moka throws an elbow that misses.
Moka's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Johnson throws a head kick that misses. Moka seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter. The fight stays on the outside here - Moka looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Johnson throws a sloppy head kick and Moka moves out of range easily. Moka shoots in for a takedown but Johnson shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Moka Moka. That's going to take a lot out of him. Moka drives through and clinches with Johnson against the cage.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Moka is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage. Johnson tries to pull guard but Moka holds him up against the cage and eventually Johnson drops back down to his feet.

Moka scoring with punches to the head and body. Moka is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Moka would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Moka landing with the ground and pound. Moka passes easily into side control. Nice work.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Moka is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Johnson knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Johnson is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Moka advances nicely into full mount. Moka content just to control the position here.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. The referee warns Johnson that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Johnson looks winded! Moka tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Moka seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Johnson for as long as he can get away with. Moka connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Moka is trying hard to land a takedown here. Johnson sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Johnson tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Moka counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Moka. Johnson wants to get back to his feet but Moka passes into half guard.

Moka controlling the pace for now. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Johnson flailing away with punches but nothing is landing.

That's one minute gone in the round. Johnson keeps trying to improve his position. Moka Moka overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Johnson is breathing heavily. Moka is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Johnson can't stay in a position like this for much longer.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Johnson tries to hold on but Moka pushes him away. Moka landing strikes from the mount. Moka scoring with some good ground and pound from mount here. Will he manage to finish Johnson ?

That's two minutes gone in the round. Moka looking to control and managing it successfully. This has been an exciting period of action! Johnson defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Moka. Moka is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Johnson can do to turn this around? Moka in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.
Johnson is in a horrible position here. Moka smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Moka has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Johnson 's face.
Moka with shots to the head and body - Johnson looks very uncomfortable down there. Johnson is trying to get back to his feet but can't. Johnson in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head. Moka sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. Moka swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Johnson is now in Moka's guard. A big mistake from Moka there, giving up the dominant position! Moka pulls Johnson in to control the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Moka wants to sweep here but Johnson controlling him for the moment. Moka is pulling down on Johnson 's head to control his posture. Johnson wants to stand but Moka is controlling his posture from full guard. Moka is controlling Johnson 's posture. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Moka Moka dominated that second round. That's time! Back to the action! This is the final round!
Moka fails with a takedown attempt. Johnson dives in for a single leg takedown but Moka sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. Moka is looking to counter the offense by Johnson and move into the clinch. Johnson throws a nice looking combination but Moka bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Johnson takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
It looks like Michael Johnson has been cut. Johnson wants to clinch. Johnson moves into the clinch. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Johnson wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.

Moka's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. Moka trying to stand up but can't free himself from Johnson 's guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Johnson is working an open guard so Moka takes the opportunity to get back to his feet. Johnson tries for a takedown but Moka circles away easily and Moka counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. A momentary lapse in concentration from Johnson enables Moka to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Johnson manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. Moka is standing up over Johnson . Johnson looks to escape but Moka dives into side control.
Johnson takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better. Moka staying calm. Moka decides to stand back up. Moka steps back and let's Johnson get back to his feet.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Moka tries to close the distance and clinch but Johnson swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Moka tries to clinch there but Johnson circles away.
Johnson tries to sprawl but Moka drives through with a takedown into half guard. Moka decides to stand up. Moka shoots for a takedown but Johnson saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Excellent takedown into side control there by Moka. Johnson bucks up and tries to throw Moka off but instead Moka has got his back! Johnson tries to escape the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Moka is working on the RNC. He looks like he's got it but Johnson won't tap... Oh, he's out! The ref rips Moka off his unconscious opponent!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:24 of round 3, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Moka Moka! A relieved looking Moka Moka thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
