Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between John Capman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dionte Brown (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, John Capman! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Dionte Brown! The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Alec Ball and Robert Douchet.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A head kick from Brown lands but Capman takes it in his stride. Capman closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Brown quickly recovers to half guard. Capman with a momentary lay and pray from half guard. Brown is looking for a sweep. Capman is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Capman tries to stand but his arm is trapped. Capman looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. Capman controlling the pace. Brown really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Capman. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Capman drops an elbow to the side of Brown's head. Capman tries to stand but can't do so whilst Brown controls his leg.
That's one minute gone in the round. Brown trying to control here.
Capman working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Brown trying to control here.
Capman is controlling the pace.
Capman seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Brown for as long as he can get away with.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Capman shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Brown napping and manages to drive through into side control! A lull in the action here as Capman stalls from top position. Brown looking for a sweep but Capman has passed into full mount! Oh no! Capman breaks from Brown's wrist control and lands an elbow.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Capman with shots to the head and body - Brown looks very uncomfortable down there. Capman controlling the pace for now. Capman scores with a couple of good head shots there.

Brown is rocked! The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Capman cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Brown is still in real trouble! Can Capman finish him?
That's four minutes gone in the round. Brown takes a big shot to the dome and his eyes have rolled back in his head! Capman's killer instinct has kicked in as he finishes the fight with more strikes. Impressive finish.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:20 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). John Capman!
