Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Pierre St. Georges (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rocket Bob Frankels (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Georges and Rocket Bob Frankels. St. Georges's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Jiu Jitsu. Frankels has chosen Dawn....Summer Solstice... as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Pierre St. Georges! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
7 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Rocket Bob Frankels! The judges for this bout are Chad Campbell, Dean Styles and Lou da Vinci.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! St. Georges connects with a right hand. Frankels shakes it off.
It looks like Rocket Bob Frankels has been cut. Rocket Bob Frankels seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Frankels with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
St. Georges looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. St. Georges clobbers Frankels with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise. St. Georges tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Frankels lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and St. Georges has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from St. Georges and we're back underway with a touch of gloves. A nice leg kick lands there from Frankels. St. Georges lands a glancing blow to the side of Frankels's head. St. Georges scores with a shot to the body.
St. Georges gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Frankels on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. This has been an exciting period of action! Frankels connects with the punch. Frankels swings away with a body shot that misses
and St. Georges holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.

St. Georges pushes Frankels back against the cage and unloads with a body punch. Frankels tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked. A head punch blocked on the inside by Frankels. St. Georges lands with a light punch inside. With the fighters clinched against the cage, St. Georges creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut. St. Georges swings wildly with an uppercut but Frankels uses good head movement to avoid it. St. Georges lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage. St. Georges lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Frankels. Frankels can't find room to land a body shot as St. Georges controls the action.
St. Georges has a couple of punches blocked by Frankels.
Frankels tries to work over St. Georges's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target. St. Georges presses Frankels against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot. St. Georges breaks the clinch.

St. Georges swings wildly with an uppercut but Frankels uses good head movement to avoid it. St. Georges throws a head punch that misses. St. Georges misses with a short punch on the inside. A left hand lands to the body for St. Georges.

St. Georges scores with a shoulder strike. St. Georges lands a nice uppercut. St. Georges swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Frankels has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics St. Georges uses from the top position. St. Georges wants to control from the top but Frankels keeps moving. St. Georges decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. St. Georges fails with an attempt to clinch.
That's three minutes gone in the round. St. Georges looks to land a right hand but Frankels moved out of range. A telegraphed right hand from St. Georges misses the target. St. Georges slips a jab from Frankels. Frankels throws an overhand right that lands on St. Georges's shoulder, as St. Georges tries to avoid the shot. Frankels is looking to land body kicks. Frankels takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. Pierre St. Georges is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. St. Georges fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Frankels manages to avoid it. St. Georges has closed the distance and engaged Frankels in a clinch.

Frankels can't find room to land a body shot as St. Georges controls the action.
Frankels breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
St. Georges throws a body punch but Frankels moves out of range. Frankels throws a leg kick but St. Georges sees it coming and moves out of range. A chopping leg kick lands by Frankels. The fight stays on the outside here - St. Georges looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Frankels takes a body punch but keeps moving. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! St. Georges loads up on a big right hand but Frankels slips the punch. Frankels tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Pierre St. Georges dominated that round. The cut man is working on Rocket Bob Frankels's cut. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
St. Georges tries to clinch but Frankels is having none of it. It seemed like Frankels was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it. Frankels lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh. St. Georges scores with a nice strike. A punch combination from St. Georges misses. Oooooh!!! St. Georges has knocked Frankels down with a huge combo! St. Georges steps away and waves a wobbly Frankels back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
That has opened up Rocket Bob Frankels's cut even more. Frankels looks to land a body kick but St. Georges moved away. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Frankels moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
Frankels throws the kick towards the body but St. Georges avoids it. St. Georges is looking to counter the offense by Frankels and move into the clinch. Frankels throws the left hand but St. Georges avoids the punch easily. St. Georges fails to land with a series of punches.
Frankels misses with a looping right.
That's one minute gone in the round. St. Georges moves in looking to clinch but Frankels pushes him off. St. Georges slips a jab from Frankels. Frankels throws the kick towards the body but St. Georges avoids it. A little feinted left hand from St. Georges on the counter but he doesn't commit to it. Frankels throws a leg kick that misses. St. Georges was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger. Frankels moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
St. Georges fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. Frankels avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

The cut above Rocket Bob Frankels's eye is starting to cause him problems now. Frankels changes levels and scores with a jab to the body. St. Georges sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Frankels misses with a hook. St. Georges ducked under it nicely. Frankels throws a head kick that misses. Frankels avoids the body shot from St. Georges.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Frankels looking to land some kicks to the body here.

Frankels blocks a jab. St. Georges lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head. Frankels gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Rocket Bob Frankels's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters. Frankels connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there. Frankels throws a quick inside leg kick. The fight moves into the clinch position. Frankels blocking some punches.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Still in the clinch, St. Georges scores with a nice short uppercut. St. Georges makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut. Frankels tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. St. Georges just stands there and leans against the cage. Frankels misses with a punch on the inside.
