Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Ambrose Cooper (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and AA CC (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ambrose Cooper has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Ambrose Cooper!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, AA CC!
The judges for this bout are Yasuomi Hirokawa, Hirohito Nitta and Yuuki Gou.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cooper scores with a punch to the head.
Cooper fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.

CC drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
CC lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Cooper down.
CC is chipping away with strikes.
Cooper is looking for a sweep.
Cooper manages to work his way to half guard, despite CC's best efforts.

CC wants to work for an arm triangle but Cooper is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

CC seems to be looking for submissions.

CC is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Cooper is just riding it out for now. CC eventually gives up the hold.
CC winds up and cracks Cooper with a swinging punch to the side of the head.

CC looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Cooper with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Cooper pushes CC off looking to stand but CC dives back in and keeps control.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Cooper really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Cooper is working an open guard so CC takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.

CC throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Cooper was covering up waiting for the punch and CC finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Cooper has his feet on CC's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work.

AA CC seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

CC bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

Cooper bucks up and manages to escape back to his feet!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

CC drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.

Cooper wriggles free and stands up.

Cooper closes the distance and clinches.

CC drags the fight down to the ground.
Cooper will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

A close round but AA CC will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.



CC closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

AA CC showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

CC is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Cooper is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Cooper works his way to full guard. Good work.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
CC wants to control from the top but Cooper keeps moving.

Cooper looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.

Cooper working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. CC doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. CC manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.

CC drops back looking for a leg! Cooper is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Cooper manages to kick CC off! CC jumps back into Cooper's guard.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

AA CC comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I've got CC winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
