Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Maurice Vachon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joe Stone (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Vachon comes into the arena with Mad Dog Tribute blaring out of the sound system. Joe Stone is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the heavyweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

7 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Maurice Vachon!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

8 - 3 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Joe Stone!
The judges for this bout are Viktor Lagutenko, Illya Tyunina and Vladimir Khabensky.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vachon cracks Stone with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Vachon lands a nice hook to Stone's body. Stone takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Vachon misses with an uppercut.
Vachon looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Stone shoots in looking for a takedown but Vachon manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Stone's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Vachon stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Vachon wants it to stay on the feet.
A left and a right from Vachon both land. Nice combination.
Stone fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Maurice Vachon has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Joe Stone.
Vachon lands a jab to Stone's midsection.
Stone dives in for a single leg takedown but Vachon sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Vachon cracks a nice hook into Stone's ribs.
Vachon cracks Stone with a good jab.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Vachon lands a nice looking body shot.
Stone looks winded!
Vachon takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Stone gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Vachon works over Stone with some ground and pound from guard.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Vachon is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.
Stone is rocked!
Vachon working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Stone's head.
Stone is still in real trouble! Can Vachon finish him?
Vachon showing good wrestling skills to control the position.
Stone seems to have recovered his senses.
Vachon postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.
Vachon wants to control from the top but Stone keeps moving.
Vachon lands a couple of decent looking shots.
Stone is looking for a triangle here but Vachon uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.
The referee asks Vachon politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Vachon prefers to stall for the moment though.
Stone tries to improve position but can't.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Stone is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.
Vachon takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
Vachon is taking a breather. Stone says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
Vachon slips a nice elbow through Stone's hands, connecting with Stone's forehead.
Stone looking for submissions off his back.

Vachon passes the guard and advances to mount!
Vachon working for a submission but Stone is keeping him at bay.
Stone is trying to escape the mount.
Vachon sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment.

Vachon is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Stone can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Vachon postures up and connects with a big shot that has rocked Stone badly. He's trying desperately to grab hold of Vachon around the waist but Vachon pushes him off and unloads with more strikes, forcing the referee to jump in and save him! Vachon is the winner by TKO! Vachon jumps onto the cage and shouts into the camera. "We did it momma!"
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:30 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Maurice Vachon!
