Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Kylar Sensei (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Junior Vilson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Vilson has chosen Haiti Voodoo Music as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Kylar Sensei!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Junior Vilson!
The judges for this bout are Kenichi Hosakawa, Yukihiro Yamamoto and Shigeki Sano.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vilson fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Sensei throws a looping overhand right but Vilson ducks down to avoid it.
Vilson throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Sensei stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Sensei displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Vilson throws out the jab.
Vilson keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Vilson lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Vilson misses with a hook

and Sensei counters with a single leg into guard. Vilson didn't expect that.
Sensei wants to control from the top but Vilson keeps moving.
Vilson looking to hit a scissor sweep but Sensei is one step ahead there.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Sensei won't allow Vilson to get back to his feet.

Vilson trying to keep hold of his opponent's head but Sensei manages to pass to mount!

Sensei working for a guillotine from mount but Vilson is in no mood to give up.
Sensei looking to ground and pound but Vilson is blocking nicely.
Sensei definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Sensei tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.

Vilson felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Sensei controlling the pace for now.

Sensei is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Vilson can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Vilson is squirming around, avoiding Sensei's attempts to control the action.

Sensei is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Sensei takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.

Vilson bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Sensei's head.

Sensei looks to score with a jab to the body but Vilson is just out of range.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Sensei avoids a lazy jab quite easily.

and Sensei counters with a nice double leg into side control. Vilson won't be happy with that.

Vilson is not content to let Sensei control the position.

Sensei trying to control the action but Vilson is working from the bottom.

Sensei looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.

Sensei thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Sensei is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Vilson will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.
Sensei trying to control the position but Vilson is working away.
Kylar Sensei overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Sensei advances to mount.
Sensei can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Vilson is looking to escape.

Sensei is looking to work his way around to Vilson's back. He needs to be careful though, as he's in danger of losing this dominant position.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Sensei throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.
Sensei looking to control and managing it successfully.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

A close second round but Junior Vilson will probably get the nod - 10:9.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!

The fight stays on the outside here - Sensei looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Vilson looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Vilson takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Junior Vilson seems to be getting the better of the standup.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Vilson swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Junior Vilson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Sensei's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Vilson connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Sensei scrambles back to his feet.
Vilson bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Sensei's head backwards.
Vilson misses with a series of wild punches.

Vilson misses with a straight right.
Sensei tries to clinch up.
Vilson let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land.
Vilson stuns Sensei with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Sensei takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.


Sensei is rocked!
Sensei gets caught by a big overhand right and goes down! Vilson gets on top of him and starts throwing some serious punches until the ref intervenes and stops the fight!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:33 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Junior Vilson!
After winning the bout, Junior Vilson thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
