Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Matt Aidan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Takero Yoshi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Aidan comes to the ring accompanied by Cant touch this. This should be fireworks!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the welterweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
8 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Matt Aidan! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Takero Yoshi! The judges for this bout are Yasuomi Hirokawa, Ren Mimura and Shirou Masuda.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Yoshi cracks Aidan with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business. Some wild striking there from Aidan.
Aidan clinches with his opponent.
Yoshi is trying to maintain a safe position but Aidan gets an underhook and turns Yoshi into the ropes. Yoshi drops down looking for an ankle pick but Aidan pulls his leg out and moves away.
Aidan tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Aidan is looking to clinch. Yoshi keeps the fight on the outside. Yoshi falls off balance throwing a combination

and Yoshi counters with a single leg into guard. Aidan didn't expect that. Aidan keeping moving, preventing Yoshi from controlling successfully.
That's one minute gone in the round. Yoshi pushes down on Aidan's leg and manages to get into half guard. Yoshi is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Aidan doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Yoshi. Yoshi prevents Aidan from standing back up.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Yoshi thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Aidan's head. Yoshi is trying to work for a kimura. He's got his hands clasped together - this could be trouble! No, Aidan has managed to free his arm - good work. Yoshi missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Yoshi wants to take a breather but Aidan is having none of it. Aidan regains full guard, whilst avoiding punches from Yoshi.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Yoshi trying to control the position from guard on top but Aidan is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Aidan has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Yoshi finds it's way round the side to connect with Aidan's head. Yoshi tries to close the distance and clinch but Aidan swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Aidan clinches with his opponent.
Yoshi stalling in the clinch but Aidan improves position. Yoshi is persisting with his attempts to control the action in the clinch, rather than do any real damage. Aidan stops a takedown attempt from Yoshi.
Yoshi is working for takedown but Aidan is calmly controlling the position for now. Matt Aidan has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Takero Yoshi. Yoshi looks gassed! Aidan breaks the clinch.

Aidan misses with a double jab.
Aidan moves in looking to clinch but Yoshi pushes him off. Aidan moves out of range as Yoshi strikes. Yoshi closes the distance looking to clinch and Aidan holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. Yoshi drops down looking for an ankle pick but Aidan pulls his leg out and moves away.

Takero Yoshi dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Yoshi throws a combination that misses and Aidan counters with a series of strikes. Yoshi will be more careful next time no doubt. Aidan has Yoshi up against the ropes in a clinch.
Aidan keeps control of Yoshi as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Aidan's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Yoshi shoots and misses and Aidan counters with a series of strikes. Yoshi will be more careful next time no doubt. Yoshi looks to clinch and Aidan counters with a stiff right hand. Aidan tries to clinch but Yoshi is having none of it. Aidan tries to clinch up but Yoshi circles away and keeps his distance. Yoshi takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket. Matt Aidan seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Yoshi tries to clinch but Aidan moves away and Aidan counters with a head kick. Yoshi tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Aidan counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work. Yoshi is breathing heavily.

Aidan goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo. Yoshi closes the distance looking to clinch and Aidan holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. Yoshi is working for a takedown up against the ropes. He can't get it on this occasion though. Yoshi wants a takedown but no success here.

Aidan scores to the head and body with a nice combination! Aidan circles away from the clinch attempt and Aidan counters with a series of strikes. Yoshi will be more careful next time no doubt. Aidan wants to clinch up but Yoshi keeps it at a distance. Aidan doesn't manage to clinch there - Yoshi circles away.
Yoshi shoots for a double leg takedown but Aidan sprawls well. He's pushed Yoshi's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Aidan uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Yoshi.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Danga de danga de dang - Yoshi scores with a four punch combination! Aidan clinches. Yoshi drops down looking for an ankle pick but Aidan pulls his leg out and moves away.

A chopping leg kick lands by Aidan. Aidan tries to clinch up. Yoshi tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Aidan counters with a three punch combo that has Yoshi backing up. Yoshi nods at Aidan to acknowledge the strikes.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Yoshi shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Aidan pinned against the cage. Aidan gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. The fight stays on the outside here - Aidan looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Aidan moves into the clinch. Yoshi is looking to control Aidan's arms but Aidan gets an underhook and turns him. Now Yoshi has his back to the ropes. Yoshi tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Yoshi is working for a takedown up against the ropes. He can't get it on this occasion though. Yoshi jumps guard but Aidan stands there with Yoshi around his waist. Yoshi gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
With the two fighters working up against the ropes, Yoshi just misses with a elbow thrown towards Aidan's brow. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Yoshi has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Aidan avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. Yoshi fails to pull the fight into his guard.

Aidan is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Yoshi shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Aidan as he avoids it easily. Yoshi is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Aidan. Yoshi tries to clinch but Aidan moves out of range. The fight moves into the clinch position. Aidan breaks the clinch.

Yoshi gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Aidan counters with a three punch combo that has Yoshi backing up. Yoshi nods at Aidan to acknowledge the strikes. Yoshi tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Aidan counters with a two punch combo. Aidan fails with an attempt to clinch.
That's three minutes gone in the round. A swing and a miss from Yoshi. Yoshi tries to clinch there but Aidan circles away.
Yoshi doesn't succeed with the takedown and Aidan counters by clinching up. Both guys are working to get underhooks. Yoshi tries to pull guard but Aidan won't allow it.
Yoshi is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the ropes. Yoshi tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Aidan just stands there and leans against the ropes. Yoshi tries to pull guard but Aidan holds him up against the ropes and eventually Yoshi drops back down to his feet.

That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Aidan moves out of range of the strikes. Aidan slips under a jab from Yoshi. Aidan getting the better of the striking in that exchange. Yoshi is looking to clinch. Yoshi tries to clinch but Aidan moves out of range. Yoshi wants to clinch up but Aidan keeps it at a distance. Yoshi throws a lazy right hand but Aidan sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Yoshi throws a right hand that Aidan ducks under and follows up with a left that Aidan also avoids with ease. Aidan lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Yoshi darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Yoshi moves into full mount! Aidan won't be happy about that! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Matt Aidan clearly takes that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Matt Aidan is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Aidan is looking to clinch. Aidan staying out of range there. Yoshi might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable. Aidan throws a right hand that Yoshi ducks under and follows up with a left that Yoshi also avoids with ease. Horrible takedown by Yoshi or perhaps it was just good defense by Aidan which made him look bad. Aidan throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Aidan misses with the combination.

That's one minute gone in the round. Aidan is pressed up against the ropes. Yoshi has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Aidan down to the mat. Aidan avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. Yoshi circles away from the clinch attempt.
Yoshi darts in and out, connecting with a jab. Aidan wants to clinch. Aidan tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Yoshi tries for a takedown but Aidan sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Matt Aidan has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Takero Yoshi. Aidan goes for a high kick. It partially lands. Yoshi looks to land a left hand but Aidan moved out of range nicely. Aidan tries to close the distance and clinch up against the ropes but Yoshi paws at him with a jab and circles away.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Yoshi lands a lovely overhand right. Aidan dodges the punch combination from Yoshi.
A slow jab from Yoshi misses its intended target. Aidan blocks a jab. Aidan walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head. Matt Aidan is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Yoshi throws a jab but it's blocked by Aidan. Aidan wants to clinch. Yoshi shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Aidan but Aidan pushes him off and we're back to square one.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Aidan lunges at Yoshi with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Yoshi's hand. Yoshi waving his hands out infront of him, looking to distract Aidan. Yoshi shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. Yoshi trying to control but he's not successful this time.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Yoshi sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it! Yoshi moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Aidan has worked his arm free - good work by Aidan!
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves. Yoshi tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Yoshi has knee on belly and moves into mount. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Takero Yoshi dominated that fourth round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Yoshi takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh. Left hook, right uppercut from Aidan. Yoshi lands a lovely overhand right. Yoshi fails with the takedown. Yoshi shoots in and bounces Aidan off the ropes to secure the takedown into guard. Both of our modern day gladiators look out of it here - an gruelling 5 rounds of action taking it's toll on them, no doubt. Yoshi throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
That's one minute gone in the round. Yoshi trying to move into half guard but instead Aidan has managed to sweep! Yoshi looking to hit a scissor sweep but Aidan is one step ahead there. Aidan has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Yoshi trying to control the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Yoshi is looking for a triangle but Aidan pushes his legs off easily.
Yoshi looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

That's three minutes gone in the round. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Yoshi is on top in guard.

Yoshi might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Aidan kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Yoshi accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Yoshi wants to control from the top but Aidan keeps moving. Yoshi makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
And that's the end of the fight! Takero Yoshi comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Yoshi has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
