Coming up we have a middleweight kickboxing rules bout between Rupeni Veitayaki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Shawn Michaels (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Rupeni Veitayaki! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Shawn Michaels! The judges for this bout are Josh West, Colin Fray and Jeff Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Veitayaki checks the leg kick nicely there.
Veitayaki misses with a series of wild punches.
Veitayaki closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the ropes. Veitayaki lands with a short head shot on the inside. Michaels tries to break the clinch but Veitayaki is controlling the position. Veitayaki breaks the clinch.
Michaels takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Veitayaki moves out of range of the body kick from Michaels.
Michaels looks to land a body kick but Veitayaki moved away. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Good work by Veitayaki as he checks the leg kick. Veitayaki checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time. Michaels has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Veitayaki. A head kick by Michaels misses and Veitayaki counters with a big right hand that sends Michaels crashing to the mat! He's very wobbly - can he beat the count?! 5,6,7,8... he's up! No, he's down again! 9,10! He's done! The referee calls an end to the bout - Veitayaki takes it!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punch). Rupeni Veitayaki! After winning the bout, Rupeni Veitayaki thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
