The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Velasquez swinging wildly here.
A telegraphed right hand from AssKicken misses the target.
A head kick misses from AssKicken.
AssKicken showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Velasquez.
A decent looking cross lands there for AssKicken.
Velasquez stalks AssKicken and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into AssKicken's face. AssKicken staggers backwards, shaken.
AssKicken digs a good body shot into Velasquez's ribs.
AssKicken just misses with a punch to the body.
AssKicken throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
AssKicken misses with a wild body shot.
Good shot there by Velasquez.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Velasquez with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling AssKicken to score with a decent uppercut.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Velasquez throws a one two combo.
AssKicken throws a wild hook but Velasquez just manages to duck under it and - ooooh! AssKicken gets nailed by a brutal uppercut which crumples him back against the cage! The referee jumps in - Velasquez raises his hands in celebration and walks away!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:13 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Ato Velasquez!
