Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jaun-Paul Fredrickson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Antero Rokka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rokka comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Twilight Guardians - Out of Our Hands kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the middleweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
14 - 8 - 1, fighting out of Sydney, Jaun-Paul Fredrickson! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
34 - 21 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Antero Rokka! The judges for this bout are John Mangel, Ben Watson and Topper Green.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Fredrickson looks to throw the jab but Rokka is out of range. Fredrickson has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Bo Ma Ye Fight Club in the buildup to the fight. A slow jab from Fredrickson misses its intended target. Rokka lands an overhand right. Good standup being displayed there by Rokka as he connects with a hook. Rokka has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout. Rokka fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Fredrickson shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Rokka as he jumps to the side. Rokka throws out a counter right but Fredrickson avoids it with no problem. Horrible takedown attempt by Rokka or perhaps it was just good defense by Fredrickson, which made it look bad. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Fredrickson ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent. Fredrickson circles away from the clinch attempt.

Rokka is looking for the big counter here. Rokka throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Fredrickson tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Rokka throws a hook to the side of Fredrickson's head but Fredrickson sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Fredrickson throws a chopping leg kick but Rokka manages to avoid taking any serious damage. Fredrickson misses with a straight left. Rokka lunges at Fredrickson with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Fredrickson's hand. Rokka is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range. Fredrickson throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Rokka stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Rokka throws a shot to the body.

Fredrickson scores with a hook to the body. Rokka's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button! Fredrickson goes for a body shot but it's blocked.

Fredrickson has Rokka pressed against the cage, preventing Rokka from circling away and getting back to striking at range. Rokka has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight. Fredrickson pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Fredrickson gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Fredrickson is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Rokka got a little sloppy there for a moment and Fredrickson has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Rokka has managed to get both his arms back between Fredrickson's legs - danger averted. Fredrickson is looking for a triangle but Rokka pushes his legs off easily.
