Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Master Miles (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rasheed Hussein (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rasheed Hussein has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Master Miles's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Master Miles!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Rasheed Hussein!
The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, Sam Margolis and James Atkins.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice takedown defense from Hussein. No joy for Miles on that attempt.
Hussein looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Hussein throws a head kick but Miles moves out of range.

Hussein shoots in and bounces Miles off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Hussein scores with a decent looking elbow strike.
Miles utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.

Miles throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.

Miles has his foot on Hussein's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Hussein works his way back into a safe position though.

Miles had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Hussein is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Miles Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Hussein's back instead.

Miles is trying to stick to Hussein's back but Hussein is turning into Miles. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Miles's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Hussein.

Hussein thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Miles has taken the fight to the clinch.
Miles lands a body shot.
Hussein jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Miles walks away with a smile on his face. Hussein gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Hussein tries to clinch there but Miles circles away.
Miles scores to the head and body with a nice combination!


It looks like Rasheed Hussein has been cut.
Miles misses with a takedown attempt - Hussein sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
No luck for Miles with that takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Master Miles. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Miles throws a leg kick which misses Hussein's front leg but catches the back leg as Hussein tries to avoid it.
Miles fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Hussein works the jab nicely.

Hussein throws a body punch but Miles moves out of range.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Hussein is trying to drag Miles to the mat but Miles just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Miles tries to pull guard but Hussein won't allow it.

Miles has hold of one of Hussein's legs. Hussein is fighting the takedown attempt but Miles gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.
Hussein manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Miles manages to regain half guard. Good work.
Hussein is controlling the pace.
Hussein seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Miles does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Miles is looking to sinch up a gullotine here but Hussein pulls his head out easily.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Hussein connects with a nice short shot to Miles's temple.
Hussein slips a nice elbow through Miles's hands, connecting with Miles's forehead.
Hussein throwing shots but Miles is blocking nicely.
Miles tries to roll over but Hussein keeps him under control.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Miles shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Miles was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Hussein has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Hussein tries to lock up and control but Miles gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

Miles is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Hussein has managed to escape the submission attempt.

Hussein defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Miles.

Miles jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Hussein is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Hussein and Miles has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.

Hussein is trying to control Miles's posture but Miles avoids it.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Miles is looking to clinch but Hussein is avoiding it.

Miles tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Hussein lands a nice uppercut.
Miles is working for takedown but Hussein is calmly controlling the position for now.

Miles lands a nice trip takedown into half guard.
Miles is trying to advance to mount but he's lost his balance and Hussein reverses the position - he's now on top in Miles's guard.
Hussein postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.

Hussein seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
Miles wants to improve his position but Hussein is controlling well.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Miles closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

Miles looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Miles wants to lay and pray for a moment but Hussein keeps working.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Miles shoots for a double leg takedown but Hussein sprawls well. He's pushed Miles's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Miles shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Hussein as he jumps to the side.

Miles takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
Miles shoots for a takedown but Hussein saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Hussein lands with a couple of good shots - one to the side of the head and one questionable shot that could be viewed as to the back of the head but the referee lets it go.
Will Hussein go for the finish here or will he try and keep control of the position?

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. And we move into the final round!

Miles tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Hussein swivels and escapes.

Miles jumps guard but Hussein stands there with Miles around his waist. Miles gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Miles misses with a short punch on the inside.
Miles has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Hussein is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

Hussein pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Hussein bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

Hussein is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Miles has escaped the position, nice work there.

Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Hussein is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Miles is trying to escape and Hussein transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Miles is forced to tap! Nice work there by Hussein! Very nice indeed!
