Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Ethan Brown (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sonny White (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Ethan Brown! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Sonny White! The judges for this bout are Felipe Paraventi, Mauricio Rocha and Paulo Santos.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Brown fails to land the takedown. The fight stays on the outside here - Brown looks like he's thinking about clinching though. White closes the distance and pushes Brown back into the cage. White's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Horrible takedown attempt by Brown or perhaps it was just good defense by White, which made it look bad. White fails with an attempt to clinch.
As White looks to move away, Brown throws a big counter combo but White just gets out of the way. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. White shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Brown manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. White trying to control but Brown is working from the bottom. White has been taking part in the yoga sessions down at Silva Jiu Jitsu . Presumably he's going to look for a slick submission... Or maybe he's looking to avoid one. Brown manages to escape and get back to his feet.
That's one minute gone in the round. Brown fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ethan Brown. That's going to take a lot out of him. White looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Brown is fending him off so far but White persists. Nope, Brown circles away and we're back to standing. The fight moves into the clinch position. Brown has White pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. White manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. White pulls Brown into guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Brown preventing the sweep. White is trying to control the position from the bottom.
White really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Brown. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Brown stands up from guard. Let's bang! White tries to close the distance and clinch but Brown swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Brown drives through with a takedown into guard. Brown tries to free his leg and advance position but White is retaining full guard. White is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
That's three minutes gone in the round. White has his hands on Brown's head, controlling the position. Brown controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Brown throws an elbow that misses. White uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Brown's guard. Nice move by White!
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. White throws a big elbow that misses. White trying to control but Brown is working from the bottom. Brown working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. White doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. White manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. White pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Brown is keeping the position for now. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Sonny White will probably get the nod. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Brown drives through with a takedown into White's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position. Ethan Brown overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Brown is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. White lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard. White with a flurry of punches that miss. White must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. White in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Brown has White pulled in close to control his posture. Brown has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
That's one minute gone in the round. White looking to sit in guard and control but Brown gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. White wants to stand up but Brown is controlling him. White wants to sweep but no luck. Brown controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Brown passes White's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Brown is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen. White wants to get back to full guard. White works his way to full guard. Good work.
That's three minutes gone in the round. White being controlled here, momentarily. Brown keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of White's head. Brown stands and steps away. White gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. Ethan Brown is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. A head kick misses from White. Brown looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for White! Brown landing strikes. Brown controlling the position from side mount. White is looking to reverse the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. White keeps trying to improve his position. You can see the frustration on White's face as Brown controls the position. White is looking to regain half guard here but Brown keeps moving and retains side control. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Brown content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Ethan Brown dominated that second round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!
A combination from White does no damage. Brown drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. White being controlled here, momentarily. White throws a wild body kick that Brown sees coming a mile off. Brown closes the distance and clinches up with White, looking for a takedown. Brown pushes White against the cage but White circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Brown circles away from the clinch attempt and Brown counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt. White takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Brown. Brown fails with the takedown. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ethan Brown. That's going to take a lot out of him.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Brown avoids a punch combination nicely.
Brown swats away the attempt to clinch by White. Brown shoots in but White avoids the takedown attempt easily. White is trying to avoid his opponent's strikes and get into the clinch. Brown closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. White quickly recovers to half guard. Brown looks to score some points with some ground and pound. White trying to control from the bottom.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Brown has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Brown content just to control the position here. White's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up. Brown tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Brown landing punches. That's four minutes gone in the round. Brown's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. White tries to get back to half guard but can't. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! And that's the end of the fight! Ethan Brown showed his dominance in that final round. I think Brown has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
