Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Shane Beers (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alex Bianchi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Shane Beers! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Alex Bianchi! The judges for this bout are Paulo Santos, Thiago Cunha and Emerson Jorge.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Beers wants to clinch up but Bianchi keeps it at a distance. Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Beers.
Bianchi circles away from the clinch attempt.
Bianchi darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Bianchi trying to control from half guard but Beers is working away. Beers tries to roll over but Bianchi keeps him under control. Bianchi prevents Beers from standing back up.
Bianchi seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. Bianchi frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
That's one minute gone in the round. Beers is trying to stand up. Bianchi content just to control the position here. Bianchi with shots to the head and body - Beers looks very uncomfortable down there. Beers regains half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Bianchi moves nicely into side control. Beers is trying to buck Bianchi off. Bianchi tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Bianchi moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now. Bianchi throwing ground and pound but whilst doing so, he forgets to control position and Beers works his way back to half guard. Good composure under pressure.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Beers looks like he's trying to stand up.
Bianchi not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Beers wants to get back to his feet.
Bianchi seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Beers trying to hold on to Bianchi's head to control him but Bianchi postures up.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Beers is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Bianchi postures up and decides to stand up, from the half guard. The ref calls for Beers to stand up. Bianchi looks gassed! Beers fails with an attempt to clinch.
Bianchi shoots in and drives through. Beers sprawls well. Beers scores with a head kick.
Beers fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Bianchi, pushing him back against the cage. Beers lands a knee to the body.
Beers prevents a takedown attempt there.
Beers wants to break the clinch but can't.

Beers is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Bianchi is keeping busy. Bianchi tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Shane Beers has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Alex Bianchi. Beers landing some nice looking knees to the body.

Bianchi fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Beers sprawls well initially but Bianchi persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Beers is looking to escape. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Bianchi uses his free foot to push down on Beers's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Beers. Bianchi looking to control and managing it successfully. Beers regains half guard. Bianchi trying to control the action but Beers is working from the bottom. Bianchi wants to pass the guard but Beers is defending well. Bianchi controlling the action here.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Bianchi's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige. Beers blocking the ground and pound attempt from Bianchi. Bianchi seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Beers does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Beers wants to stand back up but Bianchi manages to pass into side control.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Bianchi is looking to take a break and control but Beers is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Bianchi sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Beers is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Bianchi misses with a series of wild punches.
Beers tries to clinch up and Bianchi counters by clinching up. Beers looking to slow down the pace here. Beers lands a damaging elbow. The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Bianchi takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life. Beers breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Beers is looking to clinch but Bianchi is avoiding it.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Bianchi takes a body kick right on the floating rib. Ouchie.

Bianchi throwing shots from mount but they're not landing. Beers regains half guard. Beers is trying to stand up here but Bianchi is controlling him well. Bianchi seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Beers does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Bianchi is pressing down on Beers's thigh, looking to free his foot. Beers is holding on for now. Bianchi thows a big elbow that misses, also allowing Beers to regain full guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Alex Bianchi showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!

Beers avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. Beers wants to clinch and Bianchi counters into the clinch. Nicely done. Bianchi has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Beers avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. Beers prevents a takedown attempt there.
Bianchi takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Beers breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Bianchi tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Beers swivels and escapes. Beers tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Bianchi counters with a nice double leg into guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Beers pushes Bianchi off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there. Beers moves into the clinch. The is referee keeping an eye on Beers - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.

Beers closes the distance and lands a one-two. Beers clinches but Bianchi breaks the clinch and Bianchi counters with a takedown into side control. Bianchi prevents Beers from escaping the position. Bianchi moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now. Bianchi stands up and we're back to a striking position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A slapping body kick lands there for Beers. Beers clinches but Bianchi breaks the clinch and Bianchi counters with a single leg into guard. Beers didn't expect that. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for leaving it all in the cage! Beers keeping moving, preventing Bianchi from controlling successfully. Bianchi avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Bianchi pushing down on Beers's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. Bianchi controlling the pace. Let's hope that Bianchi has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

Bianchi is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Beers is just riding it out for now. Bianchi eventually gives up the hold. Beers is looking to sinch up a gullotine here but Bianchi pulls his head out easily. Alex Bianchi has got the better of the ground game so far. Bianchi is looking to advance position but Beers won't allow it. Beers is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Bianchi scores with a couple of nice shots.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Beers manages to escape and get back to his feet! Beers wants to clinch and Bianchi counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Bianchi seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Beers does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Bianchi perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. Beers looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Beers wants to get back to his feet. Bianchi controlling the pace. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Bianchi wants to lay and pray for a moment but Beers keeps working. Shane Beers has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Bianchi works his foot free and advances to mount.
And that's the end of the fight! Alex Bianchi comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Bianchi winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
