Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Rodrigo Mills!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Bob Frank!
The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Alan Glass and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Frank throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Mills instigates a clinch.
Frank is trying to wear down his opponent with knees to the body.
Frank looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
Mills stalls.
Mills breaks the clinch.
Frank tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Mills manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Mills clinches up against the cage.
Mills misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Frank.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Mills pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Mills rushes Frank and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Frank breaks the clinch.
Mills really is a fat lump.
Frank thuds his shin into the meat of Mills's side.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Frank tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Mills paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Mills moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
The fight moves into the clinch position.
Mills escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Mills has closed the distance and engaged Frank in a clinch.
Frank pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Frank lands a head kick!
It looks like Rodrigo Mills has been cut.
Mills circles away from the clinch attempt.
Mills lifts his leg as if looking to counter with a high kick.
Frank misses with a kick to the body.
Frank lands a big head kick that sends Mills tumbling to the mat! Frank takes a step backwards and waves Mills back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Mills is rocked!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Ohhhhhhhhhh, brutal head kick from Frank! This one is all over!
