Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Don Diego (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and James Harbor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Diego comes into the arena with Tupac - I'm a Soldier blaring out of the sound system. This should be a great matchup!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

35 - 29 - 2, fighting out of Las Vegas, James Harbor! The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Don Winkell and .
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! No luck with that takedown attempt from Harbor. Harbor fails with a takedown attempt. Harbor scores with a jab. Harbor misses with a wild body shot. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Harbor throws a jab but it's blocked by Diego. Diego takes one on the chin but keeps coming.

We've been told by Diego's head coaches at Canadian Elite Bruins Gym that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight. Jab from Harbor.
That's one minute gone in the round. Diego fails in his attempt to clinch. We've been informed that Harbor has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result. Harbor throws a right hand that misses
and Diego counters with a lovely straight right hand! Diego leaves Harbor with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Don Diego has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of James Harbor. Diego misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
No joy there for Harbor, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Diego throws a nice looking combination but Harbor bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Diego misses with a wild body shot. Don Diego is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Harbor connects with a good right hand that stumbles Diego. Diego circles away out of range and recomposes himself. Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Harbor, as that shot connected.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Diego takes one on the button. Diego throws a combination that misses and Harbor counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Diego trying to control the position here. Harbor wants to pass the guard but Diego is keeping the position. Harbor throws a big elbow that misses.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Diego keeping moving, preventing Harbor from controlling successfully. Diego controls Harbor momentarily but Harbor frees himself. Harbor postures up in Diego's guard and throws a big left but Diego blocks it. Harbor won't allow Diego to sweep him here. Harbor lands a couple of decent looking shots. Diego has his hands on Harbor's head, controlling the position. Diego is trying to keep Harbor in close.
Diego is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Diego scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Harbor throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Harbor misses with a hook. Diego ducked under it nicely. Diego looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Harbor slips a jab and a cross from Diego.

Diego lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin. Diego darts in trying to clinch and Harbor counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Diego scrambles and gets back to his feet.
That's one minute gone in the round. Harbor tries to bum rush Diego with a series of wild strikes but Diego uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Don Diego is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Harbor fakes a jab and then connects with a hook. Harbor throws a body punch but Diego moves out of range. A nice combination there by Harbor.
A swing and a miss from Diego. Diego throws a right and a left that both miss. Harbor misses with a takedown and Diego counters with a body kick that stops Harbor in his tracks momentarily. Harbor cracks Diego with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Harbor misses with a straight right. It looked like Diego was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit. Harbor might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable. Harbor lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Diego blocks a jab. Diego seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance. Harbor scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Diego doesn't seem bothered though. Harbor pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Harbor scores with a crisp jab that stopped Diego in his tracks. Diego uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Harbor. James Harbor seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Diego keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Harbor. Diego uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Harbor. Harbor connects with a good right hand that stumbles Diego. Diego circles away out of range and recomposes himself. Diego misses with a combination
and Harbor counters with a takedown into side control.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Diego manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu! Harbor holds on for dear life, maintaining half guard for now. Harbor is trying to get back to full guard. Harbor is not content to let Diego control the position. Diego passes the guard and advances to mount! Harbor tries to hold on but Diego postures up.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Diego controlling from mount. Harbor sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though. Still in half guard, Diego seems content to control. Harbor is looking to improve his position.
Harbor makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Harbor. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close second round but James Harbor will probably get the nod - 10:9. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!

Harbor tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away. Harbor stuns Diego with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. Diego throws a front kick aimed at Harbor's knee but Harbor avoids it well. Harbor is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Diego. Diego is looking to clinch. Sloppy strikes from Diego. Those never looked like landing. Harbor is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range. Harbor shoots in but Diego avoids the takedown attempt easily. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Harbor connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Diego momentarily.
Harbor has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight. Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Diego. Harbor throws a body punch but Diego moves out of range.

Diego pivots, looking for a leg kick but Harbor is out of range and Diego settles back down. Harbor fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Diego sprawls well initially but Harbor persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Diego moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. Diego might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Harbor landing some decent shots from guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Diego pulls Harbor in close to prevent any damage. Harbor trying to control but Diego is working from the bottom. Harbor looking to pass the guard. Harbor keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Diego's head. Don Diego has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

Diego wants to stand but Harbor is controlling the position. A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Diego holds on and takes a little breather. Harbor has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Diego has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent. Harbor content to stall in guard here.

Harbor lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. Harbor is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound. Diego being controlled here, momentarily. James Harbor has got the better of the ground game so far. Diego not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

Harbor distracts Diego with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. Harbor working some strikes from top position. Harbor content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. Harbor trying to control but Diego is working from the bottom. Diego is trying to control the position but Harbor postures up. Diego is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Harbor is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Diego has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall. James Harbor is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Harbor stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Diego swivels though and keeps the full guard.
And that's the end of the fight! James Harbor comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Harbor has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
