Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the light heavyweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Geordie Power!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Riki Shi!
The judges for this bout are Johanna Lukiainen, Matti Vanhoillinen and Anni Minnemäki.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shi scores with a head kick. Power tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.
Shi goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
Shi blocks a head kick by Power.
Shi pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Power misses the jab.
Shi misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Shi checks the leg kick nicely there.
Shi lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Shi.
Power jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Shi tries a head kick but it misses.
Shi bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Power looks to throw the jab but Shi is out of range.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Shi lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.

Power is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Shi.

Riki Shi seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Shi scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!

Shi throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Power.

That kick from Shi tenderised Power's leg. Power is trying to keep his angry face on.

Power works the jab nicely.
The fighters circling - Power throws out the jab but it was never going to land.

Power is really struggling to find his range with his punches. Shi's reach advantage is clearly causing him problems.
Power lands a jab to the nose.
Shi throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Power.
Power pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Power avoids a punch combination nicely.
Power throws a counter high kick but Shi was just alert enough to avoid it.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Shi uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Power.

Shi lands with a kick to the temple. Power shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"

Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Shi.
Power throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

A head kick from Shi lands but Power takes it in his stride.

Power throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

Shi takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Shi pulls out of a head kick attempt.
A head kick by Power - that's a beauty! Shi is out but he's somehow still standing... he's going... going... gone. Like a drunk walking down the middle of the road, the inevitable face plant follows and the delayed knockout arrives. Even Power can't help but laugh at the bizarre end to this one!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:42 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Geordie Power!
