Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Pierre Perben (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Aaron Rodgers (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Aaron Rodgers will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Pierre Perben! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Aaron Rodgers! The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, James Ackerman and Sam Margolis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rodgers fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Perben manages to avoid it. Rodgers gets caught flat footed, as Perben shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Perben in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Perben missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Perben distracts Rodgers with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. Rodgers avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Rodgers preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Rodgers wants to sweep here but Perben controlling him for the moment. Rodgers preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. A nice leg kick lands there from Perben. Rodgers throws a series of punches but Perben moves out of range. Rodgers misses with a hook. Perben ducked under it nicely. Perben steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Rodgers. Perben tries to counter with a takedown but Rodgers is quick to defend against it. Aaron Rodgers seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Rodgers misses with a hook. Perben darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Perben connects with a nice short shot to Rodgers's temple. Perben throwing shots but Rodgers is blocking nicely. Perben not landing any meaningful shots this time. Perben working the head and body with strikes. Perben is looking to advance position but Rodgers won't allow it. Perben stands up over Rodgers, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Rodgers keeping moving, preventing Perben from controlling successfully. Perben controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Rodgers utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Perben trying to control the position from guard on top but Rodgers is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Perben throws a front kick that sends Rodgers stumbling back into the cage. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Pierre Perben dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Rodgers is looking to score with low kicks. Rodgers cracks Perben with a right hand to the side of the head. Nice defenses there by Perben. Perben throws a head kick that misses. Perben shoots in but no luck this time. Rodgers throws the kick towards the body but Perben avoids it. Perben is looking to counter with head kicks. Perben throws a body shot but no joy. Perben misses with a body kick. Perben tries to clinch but fails miserably and Rodgers counters with a lovely shot to the body. Rodgers connects with a good right hand that stumbles Perben. Perben circles away out of range and recomposes himself. Nice defenses there by Perben. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Perben throws a hook but Rodgers blocks it. Rodgers scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
It looks like Pierre Perben has been cut. Perben is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Rodgers can do to turn this around? Perben shoots in for a takedown but Rodgers shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Rodgers lands a nice shot to the body.
Perben shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Rodgers but Rodgers pushes him off and we're back to square one. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Pierre Perben. That's going to take a lot out of him.
That's one minute gone in the round. Rodgers moves out of range as Perben strikes. Perben walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush. Perben misses with a head kick.
Perben shoots for a takedown but Rodgers saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Rodgers scores with a one two! Perben had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
Perben is rocked! Perben on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. Perben drives through with a takedown into guard. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Rodgers is trying to keep Perben in close.

That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Perben pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Rodgers is keeping the position for now. Perben loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Perben throwing strikes but missing. Perben with a flurry of punches that miss. The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Rodgers lands a nice hook to Perben's body. Perben takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. Rodgers throws a hook to the side of Perben's head but Perben sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Perben clinches up against the cage. Perben is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Rodgers pulls him back up using the underhooks. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Aaron Rodgers showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Pierre Perben's cut. That's time! Perben's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. And we move into the final round!

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Perben lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage. Good anti-grappling being displayed by Perben as Rodgers tries to tie him up. A nice left hand lands by Perben.

Perben wants to take a breather but Rodgers is having none of it. Perben looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Rodgers with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Perben wants to control but Rodgers is keeping him busy. Perben has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Rodgers is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Perben scores with a couple of nice shots. Rodgers keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Perben wants to control but Rodgers is keeping him busy. Perben takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. Perben controlling the action here.
