Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Makowski Brewer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Clubber Bull (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bull is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Rage. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brewer misses with a takedown attempt - Bull sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

and Bull counters with a shoot takedown. Brewer fights it but they end up in guard.
Brewer pulls Bull in to control the position.
Brewer wants to hit a switch here but Bull passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Brewer there!
Brewer keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Bull is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Brewer can't stay in a position like this for much longer.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Brewer has a hand on Bull's thigh, trying to get back to full guard. Bull takes advantage of the position though and mounts him!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Bull lands a big elbow.
Brewer tries to lock up and control but Bull gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Bull prevents Brewer from getting the reversal.
Brewer is working hard here to advance position.

Bull is landing with some decent strikes but Brewer is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.
Brewer is in a horrible position here. Bull smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
Bull cracks Brewer with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.

Brewer is rocked!

It looks like Makowski Brewer has been cut.

Oh Brewer is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Bull postures up and throws a couple of big shots that have Brewer in real trouble here! The ref calls for Brewer to improve his position which he doesn't do, so the referee has no choice but to end the fight due to the strikes!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Clubber Bull!
After the fight, Clubber Bull was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
