Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jake Belcher (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jake Tyler (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Jake Tyler was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
14 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jake Belcher! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jake Tyler! The judges for this bout are , Timothy Bukovac and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Tyler misses with a jab to the body
and Belcher counters with a nice double leg into side control. Tyler won't be happy with that. Belcher cracks Tyler with a big elbow. Belcher misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
Belcher wants to lay and pray for a moment but Tyler keeps working. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Tyler is trying to improve his position. Belcher trying to control the action but Tyler is working from the bottom. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Belcher looks up at the clock and then as Tyler takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Belcher smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
The strikes coming from Belcher are missing the target in this wave of attacks. Tyler tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Belcher wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Tyler avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Belcher. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's one minute gone in the round. Tyler taking punishment in the form of punches.
Belcher tries to advance to mount but Tyler instead regains half guard. Tyler is controlling Belcher's position as best he can from this difficult position. Tyler is not content to let Belcher control the position. Belcher trying to pass the guard but Tyler defending well. Belcher throwing shots but Tyler is blocking nicely. Belcher is keen to just control but Tyler is a slippery customer. Belcher looks to score some points with some ground and pound. Tyler actively working from the bottom here.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Belcher is just content to waste time from the top position. Tyler takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard. Belcher landing some decent shots from guard. Belcher won't allow Tyler to sweep him here. Belcher loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Belcher is working Tyler over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Tyler keeping full guard, as Belcher tries to pass. Belcher passes easily into side control. Nice work. Belcher wants to lay and pray for a moment but Tyler keeps working. Tyler tries to bench press Belcher off him but Belcher keeps the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Belcher trying to control the position but Tyler is working away. Tyler tries to improve position but can't. Belcher working the strikes but Tyler uses the opportunity to regain half guard. Belcher thows a huge punch but Tyler dodges it nicely.
Belcher trying to mount his opponent but Tyler defends it. Tyler is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Belcher scores with a couple of nice shots. Belcher throwing shots but Tyler is blocking nicely. Tyler is staying active underneath Belcher, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Belcher is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound. Tyler avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Belcher.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Belcher thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Tyler's head. Tyler wants to improve his position but Belcher is controlling well.
Belcher working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Tyler tries to regain full guard. Instead though, Belcher has advanced to mount. Uh oh. Tyler is trying to escape the mount.
Belcher scoring with some good ground and pound from mount here. Will he manage to finish Tyler?
Belcher lands a couple of good shots and Tyler has given up his back, trying to escape the position!
Tyler is rocked! This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Belcher lands a series of strikes from the back and Tyler goes limp! The ref jumps in to save him!

A very excited looking Jake Belcher made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
