Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Chester Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dan Sergeant (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Chester Jones! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Dan Sergeant! The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Jack Bonds and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jones changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Sergeant tries to avoid it but Jones manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Sergeant to the ground. Sergeant escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Jones dives in and scores a takedown into Sergeant's guard. Sergeant pulls Jones in close to prevent any damage. Sergeant looking to control.
Jones trying to control the position from guard on top but Sergeant is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Jones trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Jones sitting in guard, not really doing much. Jones is fighting to break Sergeant's control of his arms but Sergeant is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment. Jones trying to control the position from guard on top but Sergeant is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

That's one minute gone in the round. Sergeant throws a series of punches but Jones avoids them all with ease. Sergeant lands with a hook. Jones tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head. Sergeant moves into range and lands a nice leg kick. Nice straight punches there by Sergeant. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Sergeant. Jones tries to close the distance and clinch but Sergeant swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Sergeant tests Jones's chin there with a solid looking shot. Sergeant connects with a nice looking jab.
Jones takes the fight into the clinch. Jones decides to pull guard. Sergeant slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Jones looking for a guillotine here but Sergeant defends easily.
Jones definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Sergeant postures up in Jones's guard and throws a big left but Jones blocks it. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Sergeant engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. Jones is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

Jones has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Sergeant doesn't defend quickly enough and Jones has managed to lock this one up! Can Sergeant escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Jones on a fantastic submission victory.
